Must have for vaulted ceilings
These are a must have for vaulted ceilings. They are a little pricey, but worth the money. They were easy to install and came with clear instructions. Drywall goes right up to them and they are paintable. Fans mount perfectly and the finished product looks good.

Great way to mate a fan to a peaked ceiling
I ordered this to match a 52” ceiling fan to a peaked dormer ceiling in our living room. This odd little box is just what I was looking for to attach this to the ceiling and make it look semi-professional and deliberate. Before getting this bracket, I was looking at just attaching the fan to a standard joist mount electrical box. The finished look in that scenario would depend too greatly on my ability to match up the fixture and the ceiling angles. No thank you! On the other hand this bracket matches the angles but allow me to mount it on a flat surface, perfect. The mount screws either directly into a joist, or more commonly, as in our case, onto another intermediary board to mate up with the roof joist behind the drywall. Two posts are molded into the top surface of the bracket to accept the mounting screws of the fixture being installed underneath. These posts can either set up against the side of the joist or my preferred method is to drill a couple 3/8” holes into the wood where the posts can be inserted for added stability. Then a couple included screws though the nearby holes hold it on. The included screws are long enough to hold a lot of weight which is great considering the weight of our fan. A convenient knockout is provided at the top for feeding the wires. Finally, the threaded holes on the bottom are spaced the same as a standard electrical box to affix the ceiling fan to the bracket and complete the install.All-in-all, this is a great solution for peaked ceilings.

Ceiling Fan Mounting Bracket
The media could not be loaded. Following the completion of the installation process, the bracket offered a firm and safe grasp, which was just what I needed in order to have peace of mind about the matter of safety. I believe that the overall build quality is really high, and it ought to be able to withstand the test of time without any issues. The fact that it is white also makes it less obvious against the ceiling, which is something that I consider to be a subtle but lovely aesthetic touch. It worked without any problems with the ceiling fan and electrical box that I already had installed, and I believe that it is meant to accommodate a broad variety of fan types, which makes it a flexible option. I was able to successfully install the fan in a secure manner within a fair length of time, given that the directions that were supplied were enough. This bracket was used in a location where I wanted to be sure there would be no swaying or instability, and after using it for a few weeks, the fan has stayed absolutely steady, even while operating at greater speeds. I am grateful for the fact that everything seems safe, which provides me with piece of mind, particularly considering the fact that ceiling fans may be rather hefty.

Makes the impossible possible
I had no idea it would be so easy to have a fan installed in my house with its pitched roof (To be honest, unless you hired like a contractor and some professionals, I really thought it was impossible. But of course installing things like this really isn't my forte lol) . I thought it would have to be installed at a weird range to make it work but my brother said he'd take care of it and ordered this mounting box that evening. It really was easy for him to install the mount to my ceiling. He even painted it to match my ceiling. A few minutes after that he had the fan up and running. If you have a pitched roof and want ceiling lights or a fan you should look into this box, I am glad I did.

Sturdy and Easy-to-Install Ceiling Fan Mounting Bracket!
I recently installed a ceiling fan using the FB900-1 Fan Mounting Box, and it made the whole process incredibly smooth. This white mounting bracket is not only sturdy but also super easy to work with, even for someone like me who’s not exactly a DIY expert. The quality of the bracket is top-notch. It feels strong and secure, giving me full confidence that it can support the weight of my ceiling fan without any issues. The instructions were clear, and I was able to install it in no time. The white finish also blends well with my ceiling, giving the whole setup a clean and seamless look. One of the standout features is the versatility. This mounting bracket is compatible with various fan models, so I didn’t have to worry about it fitting my particular fan. It’s designed to handle both standard and heavy-duty fans, making it a reliable choice for almost any installation.A minor suggestion would be to include a few extra screws in the kit, just in case of any mishaps during installation. But other than that, the installation process was hassle-free.Overall, I am extremely happy with the FB900-1 Fan Mounting Box. It’s durable, easy to install, and provides a solid foundation for my ceiling fan. If you’re in the market for a reliable fan mounting bracket, I highly recommend this one!
