I’ve tried several anti-dandruff shampoos over the years, but Medicasp Coal Tar Anti-Dandruff Shampoo has been one of the most effective. It has helped keep my scalp feeling cleaner and reduced the annoying flakes and buildup that regular shampoos just couldn’t handle. The formula has a medicated scent, but that’s a small trade off for a shampoo that actually focuses on solving the problem. It lathers nicely, feels refreshing on the scalp, and leaves my hair feeling clean without that heavy, greasy feeling. I like that it doesn’t require a complicated routine just use it as directed and let it do its job. The bottle size is convenient, and a little product goes a long way, making it a good value. After using it, my scalp feels much happier, and my clothes are no longer collecting evidence of a tiny snowstorm happening on my head. Okay so I HAD to come back and review this! The previous reviews did not disappoint. I was skeptical to buy this but let me share my experience with this shampoo. It is a FACT that the smell is not pleasant but THIS PRODUCT DOES WORK! It took about 2 weeks to improve my symptoms and I was NOT disappointed. It does benefit leaving it longer during washing (5 minutes at most) and it also helps having a scalp exfoliator to really get into the scalp. I used it a least 2-3 times a week (a day or 2 in between washing hair). DO NOT OVERUSE! It is recommended to use a little conditioner as it's a little rough after the use as it does leave the hair stiff (also helps with the scent). After the wash, you can style as usual, if needed. Once symptoms improve, you can use it weekly to keep/prevent the dandruff away and refresh the scalp. A little extra and personal note, it did help improve my skin psoriasis symptoms on my lower neck. I definitely recommend this product to people who have psoriasis and/or bad dandruff. Especially of other dandruff brands no longer work on your hair. Also, keep the bottle upright at all times. It does tend to leak if the bottle is left upside down.

I've had psoriasis my entire life. Nizoral helped with it, and then suddenly stopped working. I've been fighting with the worst flare up I've ever had for the better part of 4 months. I was going bald, my entire scalp was one giant scale, I was desperate to try anything. I saw some people recommending Coal Tar shampoo so I got this one. Happy to report that it cleared my flare up after only two washes. I've never felt such extreme relief in my life. It smells like a burning tire, but it works! It smells awful, no exaggeration. If you're sensitive open a window and blast a fan.

I read the reviews about the bad smell and honestly can’t say it’s that bad! It doesn’t linger and it smells like medicine. In order for it to work you have to use it several times but now my dandruff is gone. I can recommend it , be aware of the smell and tbe prepared to wash your hair like 5 times with this but then it works!

So far it’s working and the smell isn’t to much for my sensory seeking kiddo. In the past I have had shampoos like this and it almost burns your eyes. This one has the smell without the burn. Hubby loves it because he says it reminds him of the mine ride at cedar point. 😂😂

I bought Medicasp and found it amazing, it really works well and leaves the hair clean. The only downside is that it has a very strong smell, and even when I use another shampoo afterward, the scent still lingers a bit. Still, the product does its job.

I have Seborrheic Dermatitis and use to use Medi-derm, which was awesome product to clear up my Seborrheic Dermatitis. The manufacturer quit making Medi-derm, so I have been looking for a shampoo product every since, nothing really worked. I found Medicasp shampoo and it is the closest product to Medi-derm that I have found to actually cleanse my scalp and take away the itch. I highly recommend this product if you have Seborrheic Dermatitis. I purchase 1 bottle and because it worked so well turned around and ordered more to have on hand.

Honestly, it works from day one; I tried various brands over the years, but I’m sticking with this shampoo—it leaves my hair very soft. The only thing that might be a bit bothersome is the strong scent, but that’s only while the hair is wet.
