Great non slip additive
It adds just enough texture to make it not slippery.

Effective, good longevity after 1 winter
Sloped steps in northern climate; and want to avoid insurance claim. Combined with the Kilz porch paint, the suspension was perfect, and the hard particles preserve the paint surface "gluing" them down (unlike soft particles that can roll off).

Works Great!
The Additive is the perfect solution for anyone looking to add extra safety and traction to their floors without compromising on style. Whether you’re applying it to a garage floor, driveway, patio, or any concrete surface, this additive offers peace of mind by reducing the risk of slips and falls while still delivering a professional finish. One of the best features of this anti-skid additive is how simple it is to mix and apply. It blends effortlessly into most Rust-Oleum floor coatings, including epoxy and latex-based paints. The instructions are clear, and the additive disperses evenly throughout the paint, so you don’t have to worry about clumping or uneven texture. Even if you’re a DIY beginner, the process is straightforward.

Read the Directions People...Thats Why They Include Them
Product worked great. I read several of the other reviews and the problems they had (color mismatch, setting up too fast/slow, non-skid additive settling out, etc) were just from them not following the directions. Read and follow the directions people....that's why they are there. I read and followed them and had no problems. Overall it was easy to install and Im not a handy person. The only issue I had was with the non-skid additive. As you apply the epoxy over an 4-ft x 4-ft area and work your way across the room, by the time you come back the epoxy has partially dried and when you overlap a little, the non-skid grit gets doubled up so you end up with a heavier band of grit across the room every 4-ft or so. Which is evidence that the non-skid additive does not settle out if you mix regularly as directed. Not really a bad issue as I live in Minnesota and my garage will have plenty of water/ice in the winter, but something worth noting. So you can pay someone $2,000 to do it, or do it yourself for a few hundred. Easy, inexpensive, and looks great. Whats not to love?
