We got the TickTalk5 smartwatch for our child who has Down syndrome, and it has been one of the best purchases we’ve made. Koda absolutely loves it. What stands out most is how easy it is for them to use. The big, clear buttons and simple interface make it much less frustrating than a regular phone or more complicated smartwatch. They can answer calls, send quick messages, and check the time without needing constant help. That independence means a lot. The safety features give us real peace of mind. Location tracking, the SOS button, and the ability to control who they can contact have been huge. We know where they are and can reach them (or he can reach us) when needed. For a kid who sometimes wanders or needs a little extra support, that reliability is invaluable. He also just genuinely enjoys wearing it. The watch feels like “His Dick Tracy” device, and he takes pride in using it. It’s durable enough to handle daily life, and the battery lasts through a full day of classes and activities. If you’re looking for a smartwatch that balances fun with real safety and accessibility for a child with special needs, the TickTalk has been a great fit for our family. Highly recommend.

I am so glad we bought this watch for our son. It has allowed him to go out with friends and we can always know exactly where he is. I also love that he can share pictures from the watch and messages but there is no worry of being on the Internet. And also that only approved numbers by us can be called.

We bought the TickTalk5 for our 11 year old to communicate with his family and friends. We love that it doesn't have games and is just focused on communication. Our child really likes the watch and likes how he can make plans with his friends directly, rather than through parents. It also has been nice to be able to call him when he is out and about as he gets older and goes out into the world more on his own.

I got this watch for my son when he was 4 years old so he could easily call me or his dad during the weeks he is with the other parent. I love that it gives me a peace of mind and I can see his location at anytime as well. The screen is the perfect size for him to use easily and the adjustable band allows me to make sure the fit is secure. I even got him Spiderman accessories to put on the buckles which he LOVES. He also loves to capture moments on the cameras as well which gives precious memories from his POV. 10/10 recommend!!

Update:This watch burnt my child. When I brought it to their attention their response was to buy a different product because I'm not happy with this watch. Nice! Update: customer service is very considerate and trying to make things work. A solid 4 stars, will be 5 as soon as they're able to add some more hours to payroll and provide help 7 days a week. The phone part of the watch works very well 5 stars. To make and receive calls works just like it should. Blocks all Texts and callers that aren't on the phone book which is great. Already getting spam texts which is with every phone number these days. But happy they're blocked. But $10/month for a kids "phone" to make calls to parents is a pretty good deal, and don't really have to worry about them breaking or loosing a cell phone. The gps on the watch however is not great and the main reason we bought the watch. After gps and software updates it still shows a completely wrong location and address. Customer service is working on it and I'm helping the best I can to figure out why it's linking to WiFi and cell towers instead of just using the GPS. When on gps it works perfect. But it keeps trying to pick up wifi and cell towers which give the completely wrong location. We use at&5 phones and they're completely accurate. I even bought tracki brand little gps trackers (not very convenient or easy for kids to wear, this the watch) and they're perfect on location. Just trying to figure out why this watch is so off. The outage seems to be a one time thing so far, just bad timing, but still very concerning. Customer services says they've fixed the issue and upgraded the servers to help prevent it happening again and is working to have people in call so should it happen again they'll begin work on it immediately instead of the next business day that they're back in office. They are off weekends remind you. I really want this thing to work perfectly and it seems like they're trying to make that happen. I will update accordingly. Old: Neat watch too bad nothing works right including the app which is the whole point of the watch to check where your kid is. I should have check the app reviews first. 2.5 stars for the app. Doing a test run before school tomorrow and nothing works. Can't log in to the app, server won't connect. No customer service during the weekend. So no one to help. Finally get logged in and can't track watch, can't change settings, nothing is working properly. I reboot phone and watch and can't log in again. Very very concerning. Borderline going to send it all back if they can't give me some answers tomorrow morning! Not happy get something else that is more reliable! Not to mention it uses Google maps for the map which is great, oddly it puts the address the watch is at is the completely wrong address, shows on the map correct, even correct numbers for the house, but the address it displays for location is wrong. So you can't just go plug in the address to your GPS to get there because the address doesn't exist.

I did a lot of research and compared different kids’ smartwatches before deciding to buy the TickTalk 5. My neighbor also highly recommended it because her son has been using TickTalk for years, and she said the signal is good and the location tracking is accurate. It has never disappointed me. I really love the TickTalk 5. It gives me peace of mind because I can easily track my daughter’s location and call or message her whenever needed. When she is at the playground or out of my sight, I can quickly locate her and contact her. When I am at work and she is home with the babysitter, I can also call or message her anytime. I can manage her contact list, set up alarms, and use other helpful features. My daughter enjoys using the watch to record music she likes, listen to radio stories, and take pictures. The watch is very helpful for both safety and communication. I also had a very good experience with TickTalk customer support. Whenever I had a question and emailed them, they responded quickly and were very helpful. This is a great watch for both kids and parents. I would definitely recommend it. I would expect my daughter continue using it until she graduates from middle school. She has been using it since 2nd grade.

The device itself is exactly what I need as a parent of an elementary age kid. The GPS needed to be adjusted but afterwards proved to be very accurate which is highly important to me. The BAND is a different story. Because of the way it's designed, kids with smaller wrists can't get a snug fit. Using the nearest hole puts stress on the band near the base of the watch and the plastic band starts to tear. I've had the band replaced 3 times and it is a HASSLE. The option is to either send the entire watch back to have the band replaced or do it myself. The screws are tiny and I'm just over it! I've just decided to purchase a universal replacement band with Velcro and replacement rods. If this doesn't work sadly I will have to look at another watch.

We are really happy with the TickTalk 5. The connection is incredibly seamless—we haven't experienced a single drop or connectivity issue since setting it up. It is also extremely easy for my eight-year-old to operate. My favorite feature is that calling a parent is just one step away; they don't have to navigate through multiple screens or complicated steps to reach us. It does exactly what we need it to do!

We bought this for our child as he was leaving to summer school. From the very first day, the battery only lasted 6 hours. Later it lasted less and less , charging very little during the whole night and after 20 days it shut off completely and never went back on. As our child was away from day one using the watch , we weren’t able to return the item … 200 euros straight in the bin. Zero recommendable
