Well built for sure. A little pricey for what they are but you get what you pay for. One thing to note: these don’t go well with high-CFM, high static pressure fans. In my application it actually cut my airflow in about half, increased the noise, and is making my device resonate around 1000Hz. That said, these would probably go pretty well with a low RPM, low static pressure fan in something such as a computer case.

These are perfect for what I need them for. I am actually building my Cockatoo a huge acrylic cage and mounting a 120mm pc fan low on the back wall as an exhaust / ventilation fan. I bought the two pack because one will be mounted inside the acrylic cage to catch dust, dander and feathers before they get pulled into the fan. This also keeps my Cockatoo from messing with the fan itself and prevents any possible injury. The other will be mounted outside the cage on the fan itself to stop little fingers (kids) from getting near the blades. Oh and this was ordered in the afternoon on 1/19/12 and it arrived at my house 1/20/12!!!

High quality!! It was the best price to quality i could find. I used it for my computer and it allowed perfect air flow.

It's a metal mesh painted black, and it properly fits 120mm fan holes. You can't ask for much more.It's sufficiently well cut that it doesn't look bad in plain site. I used a couple for some cabinets I built that house electronics, and the finish was sufficient to the task.I left off one star because I would have preferred a small bezel around the edge of the mesh, but that is just as much a matter of taste as anything else.

looks and fits perfect

This screen is surprisingly very high quality and I am very satisfied with the product. However, I bought a 110 volt high speed fan (120 CFM) and this screen reduced the airflow by at least 50%, if not more. Just something to consider in a high airflow situation. Might not be an issue with a normal low volume computer case fan.

this is a nice speakerish type mesh for the fans in your computer. i installed them on the inside portion of the fan as to stop wires in the computer from getting into the fan blades, workes fine, the edges can be a little sharp so keep that in mind. i kinda scratched myself. as for filtering dust, doesnt do much.

Not bad for around $6 they look pretty cool in my cooler master elite 341 case and 2 blue led fans behind them just remember to turn the buldging part of the filter away from the fan otherwise they might rub against the fanPros:they do keep a good amount of dust from entering my caseinexpensivethey look goodCons:non yet
