I've gone through many staplers in my time. Sooner or later you make them tackle something that that they weren't designed for and they are never the same again. Old plastic stapler broke, now in a fix as I need to get a document out. You dont realize how hard it is to manually try and staple paper without a proper stapler. So to avoid this pain again I spent more and got an all metal one. So for sure its not as cheap as you might be able to find a replacement plastic one.This one looks odd compared to the usual press down on the top type and give me a bit of skepticism buying it but let me tell you this type is far easier to use and has a lot less force. Its effortless even to staple through a lot of sheets. When I first used it I was unsure it had worked because there was so little force.Refilling is definitely a bit fiddly and requires a bit of mental gymnastics to work out how to get it open. But once figured out its fine.The key take away though is that now I have used one like this, I am never going back to the old type.

This stapler is so easy and no effort needed. it is well worth its moneyI used it to staple to suitcase label to suitcase handle which was A4 paper folded five times over.
