The mat is easy to set up and put away so you can practice at home. It has a textured material that will show where your club goes when you swing.The mat is made of decent materials, but it might wear out over time with heavy use. Although it comes with two mats so there is a backup if/when the first one gets worn out. It's a good size for practicing your shots without needing a lot of space. The marks it leaves are pretty clear and you can wipe them off with your club.Overall, it seems like a good tool. You can see when you're swinging correctly when you're not. If you're working on improving your swing, this mat is worth a try.

It works but it has a tendency to move around a lot since it’s quite light. I have a heavy turf patch for practicing that stays firmly in place. This is not that, but it does give you an idea where you’re striking.

This is a decent tool for seeing and practicing your swing path. It's not as nice as the big names, as the contrast isn't nearly the same, but it does show the club path. A quick swipe back and it clears it. The mat is a carpet like material, and the base is heavier rubber. I'm not sure how well the carpet will hold up, but it does come with another replacement. Mine only came with one hold down stake, and it moves around a bit when hitting. There are some fairly useless plastic training balls in the kit, but I use real balls. There are no instructions in the kit, but not too tough to figure out.Update - after using it a bit more, I downgraded this to 3 stars. This thing is OK at best. The alignment lines are nice, but the contrast to see your swing path isn't as noticeable as I would like. Also, it bounces around quite a bit, even when it's pinned down. My biggest gripe is that there's an indent molded into the black rubber base that doesn't align with the center of the mat. The problem this presents is that when you put a ball down, it settles into the indent. This in turn means the ball isn't sitting in the middle of the alignment marks.For the price, seems to be a decent option and is considerably cheaper than the ones you see advertised.

This is the most useful, stressful, have you swear like a sailor, handy dandy tool to have for golf. If you want to ruin your mood, go ahead and hit a few practice balls to see how inconsistent you are! Haha, all jokes aside, this is an amazing tool to help you learn where you are hitting the ball. It comes with two mats, and stays put. It comes with plastic practice balls, but I do warn you these can go a distance so if your short on room, I suggest using other balls.

Give a clear picture of swing path. Correct you swing by correcting your path. High quaity mat (with a 2nd backup mat in case you wear out the first one. Rubber base is tacky to the touch and won't slide indoors. Also has metal stakes to keep it in place outside. A great compliment to my indoor hitting net and outdoor chipping net.

The training mat provided a good "mark" on how my swing went. This won't replace actual golf practices at the range, but it's a good alternative to practice swings and see how my club passed through the zone. The mat comes with handy hooks to stabilize the mat to the ground. I also liked how they provided an additional mat so that I can replace the old one when it gets too worn down.

This is a pretty simple concept to show you just how bad your golf swing really is. I can set this up in my garage and practice 'til my hearts content and it will tell me exactly what my contact with the ball looks like. It's a great training aid at a very reasonable price.
