The remote control has an excellent range, allowing me to use it on the lake and attach a fish detector, making fishing easier. It is smaller than you think. It is cheesy. It is overpriced, but it is fun.

I purchased this boat and it worked for 5 minutes before it stopped working. I put into Amazon for a return andReplacement and sent defective boat back to Amazon. Received replacement boat and right out of the box the controller did not work. I replace with new batteries several times and it would not work with the boat that had a charged battery. This boat is garbage and if I could give it zero stars I would. Two different boats and both did not work. I will give the first boat to get to Amazon then will be asking for a full credit on this second non working boat. Very very disappointed in the total lack of quality and not worth the dollar amount sold for.
