As I Am Curl Color - Copper - 3 oz - Color & Curling Gel - Temporary

In order to enhance a Newt Scamander ensemble for an upcoming event, I was looking for a hair coloring that was subtle and temporary. This color gel turned out to be perfect. It is easy to apply, dries quickly and (if used lightly) shifts my hair color only slightly. Though the color rubs off a little if I run my fingers through my hair, it did not transfer to a pillowcase when I rested my head on a pillow for a short time. However, I suspect some of the color would rub off if my head were in contact with a pillowcase overnight. A light application of the gel did not significantly change the texture of my hair.

I like this alot, I've only used once but then I went swimming at the beach and had to wash the next day but the color was really nice. The color was vibrant and didn't rub off after drying. I saw some reviews about the transfer but I let it dry well and it didn't run while I was swimming. It only came out after I added shampoo to my hair. I used a small amount on the end of my twists to do a twist out and it was really cute. Created an ambre effect. I think I will order the red or burgundy color and see how that one looks. I want to try red and copper together now.

I have 4C hair. I decided to try the small size before I purchased the large size. I didn’t want to waste money if I didn’t like. I watch a few YouTube videos to learn how to apply. I read comments that people said the product flakes. The product didn’t flake for me. I finger coiled my hair first with Wetline extreme gel. When it was the second week before I was going to wash my hair, I added the copper color on top of my finger coils and it came out nice. TIP to make the gel stick, sit under a dryer or use a diffuser to set the gel. I think using a gel on my hair first and adding this on top is the reason why I didn’t have any flaking issues. Wetline extreme gel is very hydrating. As the days go by , the color starts to fade. Washes out easy, doesn’t feel sticky ,easy to use because it’s a gel. Don’t forget, wear gloves and have paper towels while applying.

I love that there are tons of colors and that it's temporary. I also like the way it curls my hair. I bought the copper color and on my dark hair it looks light brown. It also washes out easy.The only issues I have is that the color did not stay in my hair as well as I thought it would even after it had time to dry and I followed the directions on the label. Despite this I would definitely try different colors.

My 15 year old daughter came across this and wanted to try it on her hair. It was easy for her to apply by herself and more importantly it wasn’t messy. The color was really cute on her. She received many compliments.
