Q: Using some Hornady sonic cleaner, is it okay to put whole gun parts in with any polymer or rubber o-rings without damage?

Polymer should be fine (I've done it myself), but in using this device to clean my HK USP 45 using Lucas bore cleaner, it basically made the rubber O-ring disappear. The Polymer was fine, however. So I had to order a new rubber o-ring. No biggie. Bottom line: Polymer is fine. Rubber is a no-no. Remove your O-ring but don't worry about your polymer frame. Hope that helps.
