The 2 settings of volume, weak or strong really work well. What doesn't work well is the software. Any settings of timer on/off (2 hr, 3 hrs etc)in the timer section do not carry over to the schedule section. There you have to enter a start time and then enter a stop time. Took me a while to figure out why it didn't't shut off after my 3 hour timer setting The manual, well the manual is good for a coaster. But when you figure it all out it really is a cool device. Came close to returning it in the beginning but am glad I did not.
