Erno LaszloPhelityl Reviving Cream, Skin Moisturizer for Face and Neck, Day and Night Cream for Healthy-Looking Complexion, Hydrates Up to 24 Hours, 1.7 FL Oz

This is an excellent facial moisturizer that I've been using on my face and neck for the past several weeks. It's very smooth and creamy, blending easily into my skin. It's not overly thick, but it has great moisturizing properties, especially on dryer patches, and the effects last for quite a while. This is everything I look for in a good nighttime moisturizer. My skin feels a lot softer and smoother and I feel like it has helped my complexion look more even. My one con to this cream is the cost, which seems a bit on the high side - it's a great cream, no doubt, but I'm not sure it's worth paying 7x what a standard moisturizer costs.

Pros:This absolutely feels as high end as the price would indicate. I have been using it for a week on my neck and upper chest and without a doubt it does seem to deeply moisturize and dare I say give the appearance of smoother skin? I can still tell the lotion is doing it's job even a few hours after my shower.Cons:Some might find the smell offensive. For me personally, it is not overbearing, but pleasant. However, there is a definitite smell that more sensitive people may not tolerate.The elephant in the room is the exhorbitant price of $146. I received this item for free through the Vine program in exchange for my honest review. Honestly, there is no way I would ever pay anywhere near that price for a small container of fancy cream. Is it somewhat better than my usual $15 moisturizer? Sure. It is 10 times better? Absolutely not.Conclusion:Without a doubt this is a high quality product that does what it says, but the price puts it out of reach for the vast majority of people.

I was anxious to try this Erno Laszlo Phelityl Revivng Cream as this iconic beauty line has been revered by celebrities for a century. I love that this cream is suitable for both day and night. As a day cream, my face felt as hydrated all day as if I had just applied it. It is not greasy looking and creates a matte finish that locks in serums as well as moisture. My mature skin feels and looks plump and healthy. I couldn’t wait to try it as a night cream over my retinol. The result was velvety feeling skin in the morning. I have had no irritation when using this cream with my existing active products. In fact, I find it calming. “Phelityl” is a brand name for a complex of rich fatty acids and botanical seed oils to balance your normal skin pH and moisture level. A little of this rich cream goes a long way and I massage it in. It spreads and absorbs beautifully. My one caveat is fragrance if you are sensitive to scent. I think it smells a bit like French products fragrance with orchid. It is not overkill and I adjusted to the scent. Laszo is formulated in New York. This tub of cream is simply chic with a marbleized top. I am glad there is a small spatula included to protect from bacteria. The expiration date is 1/15/2027 but mine will be long gone before then, because I also enjoy using it on my neck with the same smoothing and hydrating effects.This Reviving cream lives up to Laszlo’s iconic hype. It is pricey, but an effective and pampering treat. Highly recommend!

I have tried so many skin care products, including several face creams. Some I have loved and others were forgettable (sadly, many fell into that category), but this cream is exceptional! Interestingly enough, I have never heard of this brand but I do realize it is quite popular and I am sad I have been missing out until now! The jar is a nice size, seemingly a bit larger than most others I have tried out, which is great because it will last a bit longer. It hydrates so well without leaving that horrid sticky/greasy feeling behind. That is really important to me, as I cannot stand that feeling and I usually won't use that product anymore (that is how much it bothers me!!) It is hard to judge how much it is visibly doing to my skin, but it certainly seems like my skin is much smoother, softer, and dare I say- a bit more youthful?!! Perhaps I just have high hopes and am seeing what I want to see, either way- I love it and right now it is my go-to moisturizer. The price tag is a bit high, but this product seems to do quite a bit more than most of the other brands I have tried out. Love it.

I ordered this Erno Laszlo Phelityl Reviving Cream to help with my aging skin. I am picky when it comes to the feel of any cream I put on my face. I predominately use a clear liquid because it feels very refreshing. I wanted more protection so I ordered this Erno Laszlo cream. I was very pleasantly surprised with how it feels. Very hydrating and very soothing feel. I actually loved it. Then I started noticing that my face was breaking out. I was uncertain as to why. I always tend to blame my diet but nothing was off. I could not think of any reason except this cream so I stopped using it and my face cleared up. Then I started using it again and I broke out again. I am not sure what ingredient my body does not like but I am bummed. I could not use it long enough to determine any benefit.

This particular cream comes in a nice sized 1.7 ounce container. The cream has a nice creamy texture and light spice like scent. The cream is not very tacky and I noticed the cream provides nice moisturizing effects to the face and neck.Overall I like the packaging and the moisturizing effects of the cream.

I’m no stranger to facial creams; however this is my first time using such a high end product. It does have a beautiful appearance that feels luxe before you even open the jar. The first thing you notice is that it has a floral scent to it. If you are fragrance sensitive this may not be the best option for you. It is a thick creamy texture, it comes with a small applicator that you can use to scoop out the product without having to actually put your fingers in the cream. It goes on very smooth, and feels nice on your skin. I was able to rub it in and it absorbed pretty well without feeling super heavy or greasy. It does make your skin feel soft and supple. For the price point I’m not sure what I was expecting, but there’s nothing miraculous or extra fancy that I’ve noticed with my skin. I do enjoy using it and feel it’s a good moisturizer, but not something I would come back to once I use it all up.
