This carousel is for my daughter's 7th birthday and it's perfect for her!It's pretty pink, which is her favorite color and she loves horses.It has the cutest hidden compartments around the bottom, that open up to reveal little makeup and makeup brushes in each compartment.My daughter is going to love all the little beads and string it comes with to make her own cute little jewelry!It even comes with cute little nail polishes and nail stickers!It requires 3 triple A batteries to operate, but she's going to love that this carousel really turns and plays melodies!I love that it's easy to put together so it won't take long on her birthday to start playing with it.I'm really happy with the quality of this toy too.She's going to love this on her birthday!

The Geyiie Carousel makeup and nail polish set is an adorable jewelry box type of set for little kids.The entire kit has many pieces and provides hours of entertainment. The lights and music add sensory fun for the kids, keeping their attention. I really wish the horse carousel actually turned, but sadly it does not. I like the way the bottom trays open like flower petals. The girls have fun opening and closing the makeup trays. It comes with tons of beads ( I put those away in case of swallowing and I will supervise jewelry making personally). The makeup and nail polish are hopefully non-toxic. I can say it is super easy to clean up. Makeup can be wiped off easily with a paper towel and water.Unfortunately, the entire carousel is made of pretty flimsy plastic. For some reason the horses do not come fully attached and easily fall off with repeated movement. That means I am constantly finding little pink horses and having to wrangle them back to place. Also, my toddler broke several horses after a day or two trying to attach them herself. It just doesn't make much sense. The same cheap design goes into play for the top of the set. The clear top is thin and does not fit well into the space. It will slide or fall off with little effort.I gave this set a 4/5 because my girls love it so much, but I would lean more towards a 3/5 if there are comparable options.

My daughter loves this toy. It has makeup, nails, jewelry and music. She can’t stop playing with it. It’s also a great gift for the girls who love all the girly stuff.

As soon as we set it up mu daughter was in love!! She played with this toy for hours and had the BEST time !!

This is a plastic carousel style container for play makeup and beads to make jewelry. The beads and the nail polish are both great. The nail polish is in real full sized glass containers but peel off easily with no chemical odor. The beads have a fun variety of choices and a few ways to turn them into jewelry easy enough for anyone to do.On the other hand, while the carousel does light up and sing once you add batteries (not included), it does NOT move. I guess I assumed it would turn since it’s a carousel and that’s kind of like the only thing they do. The music is loud and has no volume adjustment options and never turns off on its own. It’s also very difficult to access the makeup that spins out of the bottom. A would be cool feature, instead left my toddler frustrated. The makeup inside is goopy and glittery. Reminiscent of the exact goop I smeared on my face in the 90s out of similar kits. Last complaint is with how easily the top falls apart. Every time I tried to spin the bottom compartments open, the top would fall apart instead. Both the decorations and the lid to the really small upper storage space are constantly needing mommy’s attention to “fix”.Especially for the price, I cannot say this holds enough value to recommend it.
