Best release I’ve ever owned
Adjustable trigger is awesome, set pretty stiff allowing me to pull through shot properly

Awesome release
Adjustable from hair trigger to heavy and everything in between. Also can set trigger travel from long to no travel. All the adjustments you want in a release.

Scott archery should be embarrassed
Congratulations Scott, this is hands down the worst release I’ve ever used. Trigger is insanely stiff, even when the tension screw is backed out all the way. You can’t make the trigger light enough to resemble anything that could be considered accuracy. I’m a Scott release fan, but this thing is absolutely terrible.

I really like the sensitivity on this
I really like the sensitivity on this. It's not too sensitive so I can pull through on my shots and place my finger on the release without it firing. I kind of wish I got the talon release with buckle instead of the long solid bar but I'm happy with it and everyone at the archery range asks to try it and also like it a lot. If you wear a size M glove I would 100% suggest the buckle version because this will not fit you even at its lowest setting.

The release feel is almost better than perfect for me - but the strap feels like an afterthought. It's stiff, bulky, and very basic. Scott makes dozens of releases, and they're all above average, but this strap is a let down - especially for the price.

Fell apart during my hunt.
I used the release for several months practicing archery, worked great at the time. The release was recommended by a friend whom is big into archery hunting. Fast forward three months to hunting season. I used the release first four days of hunting season and on the fifth day I get ready to take a shot of a lifetime and half my release is missing. The part that straps on my hand was still there( obviously) but the release trigger assembly must have fallen off when I was hiking/stalking. Looks like the two pieces screw together, mine must have been loose and fell off. I cant beleave they didnt use lock tite on those threads. This was an expensive release and im extremely disappointed. I recommend you stay away from this release so not to have a lost hunt like I did, all from a faulty release. Quality control (for me) is a issue, buyer be ware.

Nice but…
The talon hook is great the design is sleek and the overall look is nice. The unit wrist runs small and the leather is not comfortable. Large men stay away. The release of the trigger is less to be desired, it's not smooth and will alter your shot. To each their own, my preference is smooth trigger and smooth release. This is neither of the two.

Not a fan
Pulling the trigger on this release is very strange to get used to if you aren’t used to the tension. Very hard to track a target if you are a hunter with this release. I will stick with my SCOTT mongoose.

Good quality product, comfortable and reliable.
I've put a ton of arrows through this release in the last couple months and I've really grown to love it. My last release what's fairly low end, so it's probably not a great comparison but I have found this Scott Talon to be super comfortable, heavily adjustable, and overall has been very reliable so far. I could see this being a release that I can use for many years without issue.

Great release
Would have gotten 5 stars but the wrist strap appears to be of lower quality than the last Talon I purchased

Incomplete
Release is fine but it didn't come with the adjustment spring it is supposed to. Cannot access product support.
