Bigger than I thought so very worth the money my son loves it

I got this star in the light blue color for my 9-year old son & we really like it! It's real cute & seems well made! It's quite soft & "fluffy-feeling" & is a nice thickness for a plushy/stuffed animal...it isn't stuffed inside so much to where it's "stiff" feeling...it's instead plushy & compressible, so it's nice for a child to hug, lay their head on, etc (although you may not want to let your child lay on it, since perhaps that could possibly damage the lights/wires inside of it, which make it light up!)Upon opening it, it puffed up into its normal shape & size immediately (it's shrink-wrapped kind of tightly/squished up, but it opens up into its star shape just fine once you get it out of its wrapping!) It's soft & squishy & I was extremely happy it had no weird or "chemical" scent to it whatsoever! It even has the "CE" marking on the little label attached to it, which means it's supposed to have passed toy safety standards for children. :)It doesn't come with any other tags/labels or instructions (or batteries) as the ad lets you know that batteries are not included, fyi. You just have to easily open up the velcro bottom/hole on the bottom of the star & pull out the battery compartment that's right inside of it & open up the battery compartment with a small screwdriver, & then insert 3 AA batteries into the battery pack & place it back inside of the star. The pink embroidered "ON" button on the front of the star is how you easily turn it on & off. It's all easy peasy! :)The lights on it work awesome too! They're soothing/calming lights...not too "bright," but they're also bright enough to be cool! & they change color slowly/smoothly...there's no "flashing lights" so it's a perfect, calming sort of toy for bedtime, or during a tantrum or stressful time for your child to comfort your child! It's a perfect size I think...just large enough to make it a nice size for hugging, but not too large where it's cumbersome for a child to carry it or to take it along while traveling or in a vehicle. (It even has a little ribbon loop at the top of the star for carrying it or hanging it up!)I think this is a really neat & cute item honestly...we're quite happy with it, as long as the lights keep working on it for awhile! I'm glad you can easily replace the batteries in it with regular AA batteries too, & not those tiny, annoying "button cell" batteries.I'd suggest to be careful with it though...since every electronic stuffed animal I got for my son when he was younger stopped working eventually or would start acting wonkily after awhile (& that's when you know it needs new batteries)...but if you put new batteries in electronic stuff animals & they still act wonky, then that's when I knew the item had just gotten tossed around too much by my son as a toddler lol & the electronics inside the stuffed animal had gotten compromised/damaged. (My son's 9 years old now, so thankfully there's no issue now with him treating an electronic stuffed animal carefully! lol) So I think as long as your child takes care of this star & doesn't sleep on top of it, then hopefully the lights/wires in it should last fine for awhile, as long as you replace the batteries in it whenever it needs new ones! :)I think it's a good bedtime item for any child, or for a child who loves stars, or who would benefit from a soothing, light-up stuffed animal, etc. It doesn't have any music to it, just fyi...but sometimes that can keep certain children awake instead of helping them to fall asleep, so this is especially good if you want a quiet bedtime toy that lights up in a way that's mellow & not distracting to keep a child awake! :)Just know that I don't think there's any "automatic shut-off" feature on this item. It would probably just keep lighting up until the batteries in it ran dead lol, if your child falls asleep with it on. So you'll need to shut if off for your child if they fall asleep with its lights turned on. That would've been the one good improvement they could've added to this cute star...an automatic shut-off feature where it would automatically turn off its lights after 5 minutes or something...to save battery life if it's ever left on! So just realize that about this item...if you want a bedtime toy that will automatically shut off, this one doesn't do that, I don't believe. Otherwise, we really love it so far! :)

I got this plush twinkle star for my grandson but I loved it so much I ended up getting him something different and keeping it for myself. Its the most soft and wonderful feeling pillow. I love snuggling up with it when I get ready to go to sleep and I find it very comforting. The lights are so subtle and pretty. Its just an absolutely lovely pillow and I adore how soothing it is.

Wish it had a timer to turn itself off. It’s very cute and lights up really well. Its lights are actually VERY bright and I wouldn’t want to sleep with this on.

our daughter turned 3 and become aware of the “darkness” and she went through a sleep regression because of a fear of the dark awareness but this has helped her greatly it lights up very brightly and has no music or noises the lights are so calming and stay on all night

This is a cute star pillow that is a well designed sensory aid. The lights are embedded within the pillow and create a gentle, calming glow that can be very soothing, especially during bedtime. The lights are not too bright, ensuring it they don't disturb sleep. The pillow is large enough to be cuddled by a child but not too big to be cumbersome.Impressively, the pillow withstood a wash and dry cycle without batteries and worked perfectly after inserting the batteries. So this pillow is a win for me, because the ability to wash the pillow without compromising its functionality is a significant advantage for maintaining hygiene.

Button doesn’t work/doesn’t light up and of course my husband threw out all the packaging so I could return it. Its cute but frustrating that the light up part doesn’t work which is the main point of getting it.

Such a nice pillow for little ones! Super soft and cuddley and the colors change in a slow transition, not flashing or annoying! The only issue is that it does not turn off by itself… not a big deal! I would highly recommend this pillow. Bought it for my 20 month old grandson…HE LOVES IT 🔆🔆

Itrm was very tightly packed, but arrived dirty somehow. My guess is it was dirty when it was packed. My concerned that the stain maybe because its used. I ordered a new item.
