Excellent book to follow along with the games
This has so much information in it as we watch the 2018 FIFA games. From the table of contents, this book contains: info on Russia and the locations of the games, qualifier info, teams, players, and a place to keep track of scores.

Sloppy and commercial
This book gives an OK overview of the teams but for an official book it's so sloppy. The worst example is that story about Mo Salah (the Egyptian player) has a picture of the Moroccan flag which my 10-year old son spotted right away! Also, every time FIFA World Cup is mentioned it is followed by TM (trademark registered). It's distracting and makes the book feels like a corporate money grab. FIFA can do better than this -- in the meantime, save your money.

Not the best, but cool to collect.
I like collecting the official fifa books as well as some magazines so its pretty cool to have it as a collector item but for the magazines (i.e. World Soccer) as well as other sources offered better depth for this world cup. So in short: cool collector item, other sources offered better look into the teams.

because it has a good, quick overviews of the stadiums
What? NO TEAM ROSTERS!! That is one the major reasons for buying a GUIDE!! I will keep it, because it has a good, quick overviews of the stadiums, coaches, and star players....but it is incomplete without full team rosters. I will have to go to a bookstore and get a magazine. This book is way overpriced!!

Previous world cup records, interesting facts
Interesting and informative articles on the qualified teams, from the lesser known (viz. Iceland, Panama) to former champions. The records section of past world cups is great. The scoresheet at the end adds it to preserve it for future.

Nice guide and souvenir for the future
Very well put together with details of just about everything you would want to remember in the future. How they all qualified, about Russia and the venues, 2 pages of info on each team taking part, all about history of the World Cup and various player and team records. And of course a place to record all of the results and league positions etc. I've been just having a quick read before I watch some of the games. Definitely worth it. I particularly enjoyed filling in the Group F results and showing Germany bottom of the league! Yesssssss!

Buena información pero con errores
La información en general es buena pero tiene errores graves, por poner un ejemplo Mohamed Salah (estrella mundial) la ponen con el equipo de Marruecos ¡¡¡En serio revisaron su información!!!Al ver este tipo de errores, uno pierde confianza si la demás información que no es tan sabida será correcta.Ojalá cuiden estos detalles y el próximo mundial tengan la versión en español. Este es el segundo mundial que compro este libro, en 2014 me llevé una grata sorpresa, ahora en 2018 un gran decepción.
