Talking Microwave Oven

Bought for my elderly aunt who suffers with limited vision – she loves this talking microwave – She finds the buttons easy to press there’s even one that gives time / date! – the panel of buttons is large enough so she can even see the outline of the buttons and they are raised up so she can feel her way down them (she remembers sequences / orders by counting) – it was easy to activate / set up the pre-programed buttons but would need to be done by a full sighted person who could show/instruct the user – the clarity of the voice is clear and concise – it even tells you door open close and what each button is/does as you press it - she would definitely recommend

Hi does what it says,easy to operate and program, you need the bump dots as the buttons are almost flush with the control panel. a tad expensive, customer service was excellent.Suggested improvements - coloured/textured/raised buttons or spring loaded press buttons with different raise shapes around each button eg star circle square etc. Later voice commands could be introduced. Manual was printed on a4 paper supplied with 2cds one with recipes, the other has the manual. Could upgrade the manual to glossy and replace cds with anSd card

love this talking microwave, its great now have lost my vision, very easy to use and sturdy built

The talking microwave brought a smile to my fathers face. He only has a tiny bit of sight left so this has really improved things for him. We did have a slight problem but after a phone call to the suppliers it was solved.

My last Cobolt Talking Microwave oven lasted 22yrs. So I just upgraded to the Mk6.Very stylish and fantastic upgrades in new technologies.

This microwave does what it says on tin. My 78 year old father uses with ease. First one arrived not working but Cobolt (manufacture who this is supplied by) replaced without question within 48 hours.

Bought this for my 87 year old visually impaired mother and she loves it. She learned how to use it in a day, despite being a serious technophobe. Brilliant, until it broke down and the outside began to get too hot to touch. Called Cobalt and they have arranged to pick it up 3 days later and "have a look at it". They didn't seem bothered, almost like they were used to it.
