Call of Duty Black Ops is a highly immersive first-person shooter combat game that has been around for a while. Although it has since been surpassed by newer video games within this category, it is still highly recommended. It has a slightly psychedelic storyline that is interesting and unique. Combat gameplay action is still considered first rate.

I love this game

It's ok. It's not great. It's Call of Duty. The camo grinds are extra obnoxious this year, and the battle pass progression seems artificially slowed (on purpose, so you'll buy the Black Cell 10% boost BP tier). It's literally the same game we've all been playing for more than a decade, just recycled for another year. They may as well just put CoD 2024 on the box. That said, it's not bad. It's enjoyable if you just want to jump into MP and get a couple rounds in. Warzone is.... meh. Zombies are getting stale. Let's be realistic though, you're not buying this for it's originality.

Excellent addition to the COD franchise! First new COD game I have purchased in a while and it did not disappoint. I have racked up many hours and will rack up many more! The franchise keeps getting better!

I am one of those gamers that will skip a COD game every few years. With that being said, I haven't skipped a black ops game. After playing cold war and getting disappointed with vanguard, it was a hard to even consider playing this let alone MW3. I borrow MW3 and I disliked the zombie mode. One of the main reasons I even play call of duty games. Black ops has always had the best zombie maps in my opinion and I can say that they still do.I picked this up to manly play zombies and it has consumed over 60hrs of my life. The regular multilayer is fine, I tend to find myself only playing nuketown...again. The campaign is really good and they even attributed a level to zombies. My biggest negative would be the split screen. It's not great and it feels like it was a last minute though. Although I don't use split screen as much as I used to back in black ops 3 days, the online multi-player for zombies is fantastic. New zombie maps are coming with the next one coming out in a few days.
