My 8 year old loves this. We’ve had this kit since Christmas and every time she plays with it, she is engaged for a couple hours at a time. You just need to add batteries. The other night she made a light show with astronauts and space things. Another night she did some kind of on and off music thing. It did not require any kind of help from me. This is a worthwhile screen free educational toy. She loves showing off whatever she makes and has so much fun doing this. It comes with a little book of instructions or ideas that can help a kid get started.

I’m updating my original review below because of fantastic customer service from the manufacturer. I reached out Blue Marble by email on a *Sunday* and received a prompt reply saying they were mailing me a replacement and prepaid postage for me to send them the broken part so they could investigate the issue. It was ready for pickup by the USPS by Sunday evening! I have not received it yet, but I’m hoping the new piece will last longer than the last one. Original review: First off, this is an amazing toy with so many possibilities and was hours of fun for my son — for one day. Unfortunately, a piece broke off of the main battery unit after one day, so we were not able to use it after that. It’s such a shame, because this one defect prevents us from using the whole set. I wish the manufacturer offered a replacement part; I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It would be well worth the price if it hadn’t broken so soon, but it’s too pricey to order another one. My son is heartbroken; this was his favorite toy he’s probably ever received. I wish I could get a free replacement, but I can’t find a way to contact the manufacturer.

All components are Pretty Good Quality. 3.5y.o. boy easy connect wires. LED lights, projector, motors pretty sturdy. Looks like can survive in a child hand.

Great product for my 10 year old granddaughter. We sat together and the instructions were very clear easy to build and worked as we expected . A little trouble shooting….operator error, but we figured it out and she was so excited. So many pieces we were creating projects based on what we learned.

My 8 year old nerdy grandson loves this. We are a bit over half way through and he has spent hours with it. The components for the circuits seem to be high quality. There have been a few negatives. * I think to call it over 120 circuits is an exaggeration, many of them a very similar. * There has been a couple circuits that didn't seem to work as shown. * Conceptually the wires between the component are viewed a single wire (positive or negative). But in reality there are two wires inside that can carry both. This occasionally leads to odd results, like a motor spins even though only one wire is attached.

This was amazing. One of the projects could even defy gravity! The only downside is the price but otherwise it was great.

Make sure you buy one for your kid or your grandkid it’s awesome. My grandkid stay away from it. He loves it so much.

I purchased this item for my grandchild and he and his younger brother are experimenting with it all the time.They love the experiments and from what I am told they are so happy when their father(my son)gets it out .I am very happy with the purchase and give it a 5 star rating because its so interesting and it teaches them about elecricity

Fun circuits to create. I initially had an issue with one of the pieces not functioning but the company quickly contacted me and rectified the problem within 2 days. Extremely pleased with the company and I will continue to purchase items from them.
