UPDATE: I began to see improvement and reduced inflammation after 6 weeks. I use the RLT twice per day as directed by my PT. Still has an odor but am getting used to it. I have had my Lifepro belt for 2 weeks. It was recommended by my PT to use it everyday for pinched nerve in my neck which was causing excruciating numbness pain in my hands at night. It just 2 weeks on L1 I have gone from pain level 5 to 3 to 2. It is working!! My only complaint (hence 4 star) is the chemical smell is bad. I assume that's from the fabric. Very satisfied customer. For anyone on the fence about ordering this, do it now. This belt is a miracle worker. This is the second device I've owned. The first is a small wand from another manufacturer. It was for my senior dog to treat a torn CCL. Her vet started the red light therapy to try and avoid surgery. My sister sent me an equine wand she had so i didnt have to transport (or pay for) treatments every day. He thought it would take about a year before she regained basic independent, sound walking. Within 5 months she was climbing stairs, running, pivoting, and jumping with ease and pain free. I started using the wand on my own aches and pains, then my sister talked me into ordering this belt. It delivers the same frequency, wattage, strength as her pro model but covers a larger area at one time, plus I wouldn't have to hold and move the wand. I couldn't be happier and my knees, hips, back and shoulders feel great. Even the skin in the treated areas appears healthier and more youthful (I'm 67). My cousin is currently borrowing it to try it out after knee replacement surgery. Her doctor told her today she is progressing much faster than she was before she started the light therapy. This product is fairly priced, made of quality and durable materials. The battery holds a charge well, providing approximately five 30 minute sessions per charge for us. It's been used on the dog and 3 humans almost daily for 3 months and still looks brand new out of the box. The written instructions included in the box are well written and easily understood. There is product support on Lifepro's site that is easy to access and easy to navigate. I recommend this product and would definitely buy this product or any of their products again. Okay, here’s what happened. I was very excited to receive my first infrared therapy belt, and it arrived today. The packaging was very nice and well packed. However, when I opened it and plugged it in, half of the lights did not turn on. I pressed the power button(All), but only three rows of lights lit up. Two rows did not light up at all. I checked everything several times and did not see anything I did wrong. The controls are very basic—there’s nothing else I could have messed up. This means the belt is DOA, or at least partially DOA, right out of the box. I’m very disappointed. I specifically tried to buy an American company or American brand. I spent a couple of days researching, and it turns out I now have to return this belt to where it came from. I’m not happy at all. Thank you for dropping by.

I’ve had this belt since August 2025 and have used it consistently, so I feel like I can give a fair review. I do like it and think it works well, especially for things like nervous system regulation and period cramps (I’ve definitely noticed relief there). That said, the functionality has been frustrating. The battery extension stopped working within the first month, and while Amazon sent a replacement, it doesn’t provide the same power, so the cordless option is basically unusable now. Even when plugged in, the connection is finicky and only works at certain angles. For something that cost around $110 at the time of purchase, I expected at least a year of reliable use. I still use and enjoy it, but the design and durability issues make it hard to fully recommend. I did notice that it is less expensive now so if you’re looking for a decent option that will last you a few few months this might be a good one.

My daughter gave me the knee therapy kit for Christmas. I liked it so well that when two of my low back herniated disks flared up, I bought the Allevared Light Therapy belt. Even without the extender the belt covered my low back. It’s fast, deep therapy and will fit easily in my luggage while traveling. I also like that I can use it while it is charging. Great product!

I just received this belt and I have used it only once to date but I have heard so many great things about this belt. I saw this on Tik Tok shop from several content creators and I was excited to purchase. I thought it was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for as I saw knock offs of this belt with bad reviews. It is very easy to put on and the quality is great as I have other belts without the light. I am on a fitness journey and I have researched and heard great things about the belt with proper use. I will come back and advise as I can tell with my first use that this belt will assist me with my goals.
