Activa Rigid Wrap Plaster of Paris Cloth, 20 lbs (9.07 kg) | Ideal Sculpting Medium For Arts & Crafts

I use this for my life casting work (making molds of people's faces, torsos, etc) and I've been very happy with the product. The price point at 5 and 20 lbs is excellent compared to 15-ft rolls of the same brand from the craft store. It could be a little more creamy, but it's on par with the other brands I've tried and I'm using it in a way that it's not really intended.

Easy to work with. Forgiving and fast drying. I did a rather large project (monster devil for a parade)I used anything from styrophome to cardboard for the base. Mostly I sculpted him with riged wrap. I included muscles, veins, eyelids, lips..... He was solid and sturdy and easy to paint.

One reviewer said this is expensive. Well, yes it is, because it's a medical product.Plaster also has a short shelf life, in weeks or months. If you want to get El Cheapo from eBay, fine, but it's probably way outdated and may not work like you expect.Did you know that the saying "You get what you pay for" is more than 500 years old?

This is a terrible price. You can get it at less than half this price on ebay. Probably even cheaper if you try harder.
