Review: I'm only half way though but what a thought provoking book. It has great tips that I'm able to incorporate right away into my classroom to make it more Catholic. I teach in a Catholic school - and have struggled with ways to incorporate the faith into every aspect of the curriculum. This has great tips, tricks, and suggestions to do this right away. Review: I am half-way through this book and have not yet read the subject-specific content. This book is excellent. I wish it had been written 7 years ago when I began teaching! The section titled "History", which discusses the importance of Christianity in developing the subject we call "history" is superb. The book covers philosophy of education ("What are people for?", "What are the goals of education?", etc.), makes strong claims as to why 'Catholicizing' every subject enhances rather than diminishes or dilutes each field of study and goes on to offer ideas on how to do that. The writing style is enjoyable and enriching.

This book is more than just theory. It is incredibly practical, showing how a Catholic ethos can be applied to any subject or discipline. No theological education needed to understand it. Very, very good.
