Worldcell is an extruded, polypropylene foam sheet with a low abrasion surface giving it an excellent Class "A" friendly surface. Typical applications for this material include cell divider, tote dunnage as well as a plastic sheet, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheet and plastic corrugated sheet replacement. Worldcell® provides a solution to using HDPE sheets that is half the weight! Even though it is lightweight, Worldcell still offers a durable replacement while still being a cost effective alternative. Just like the HDPE foam material, Worldcell is 100% recyclable (ask us about our recycling program). Compared to other sheet plastic materials, as well as plastic corrugated or widely used in dunnage, Worldcell provides: Smooth surface that provides excellent impact resistance (Class “A” friendly); Higher strength consistency in all directions across the sheet due to its non-directional structures; FDA approved without the need to seal the edges; No open flutes that can trap dirt or moisture which can cause contamination; Quicker processing for fabrication methods such as die cutting, waterjet cutting, ultrasonic welding, heat sealing, hot air welding, thermoforming, and CNC routing; Stock sheets are blue (custom colors available); Reach & RoHS approved; -50°F to 225°F ideal working temperature. Worldcell is a closed cell material, which would make it impervious to most chemicals. Our material is thermoformable. Worldcell requires a little less heat and faster cycle time, cutting down on energy costs and increasing productivity. Thanks to Worldcell’s smooth surface, it also provides excellent impact resistance. Our material is a solid sheet that does not contain any flutes that can retain moisture and dirt causing contamination to not only the material but the parts being protected.
