This is an amazing product for it's price. I bought it to set up outside my door so I can know who comes by. The picture is in color and comes out super crisp and the sound from the microphone is clear. The device can pivot 360 degrees and has a fairly good range for moving up and down. I see I can add more than one camera and may purchase a few more for the perimeter of my house. It was super easy to install - I just added this device onto my Switchbot app - and I am very technologically shy. I continue to be a fan of Switchbot and its devices!

Love this camera to watch my pet. Follows him around. I did buy iCloud membership. Not much. Love SwitchBot using sensors to let me know if my dog is using the bathroom and keep track of his where about in the house.

Best security camera for your money has options for subscription but not required to use product video quality is great app could use some work but not terrible

The camera goes dark and goes offline within 15 minutes at the shortest and 2 hours at the longest after turning it on. I have tried everything I can, including firmware updates, factory resets, wifi resets, replacing cables and adapters, etc., in accordance with the troubleshooting instructions on your website, but there is no improvement at all.. I have contacted SwitchBot's customer support multiple times, but I am fed up with waiting a week or so each time for a response, and the content is just a copy of the template.. I am not getting anywhere at this point, so I attempted to return the product, but I live on a remote island in the US, and it would cost me over $20 to send this product back, which is ridiculous! I think it is inevitable that there will be defects in the product. However, if the support for such problems is in this state, no one will ever think of buying another product from the same company again.

As expected and reliable

The first revelation was that Alexa can show the cameras stream, something that was never possible before when I used Xiaomi cameras in my setup. Other than that, has high resolution, the app has a ton of features and the AI works great and has no false alarms. Cloud is paid, but you can put a SD card, it can use high capacity ones. The cloud offering from Xiaomi is better, because it stores the events for free for up to 30 days, but other than that, a far superior product, it worths the extra money, it's not the cheapest camera out there.

Je l'ai mis dans ma maison entre deux chambres et c'est très cool parce qu'il a la vision large et peut prendre en vision beaucoup de choses. Les fonctionnalités sont très bonnes, il se mets en privacy quand j'arrive à la maison et s'active quand je sors. Il a le détecteur des mouvements et des personnes et même l'alarme. La seule chose est que ça ne fonctionne pas pour moi pour voir l'image quand je suis sur ma ligne téléphonique, ça marche seulement sur le WiFi, mais apparemment c'est un problème seulement lié à mon opérateur téléphonique et l'équipe du Switchbot est en train de résoudre le problème. Pour info je suis sur Bouygues.

I have a mainly Ring and Blink camera set-up throughout my home but have never really got on with their mini versions so when this was offered to me through the Vine program for review I saw no reason not to give it a go and it is a decision I don't regret. It was important that Alexa is supported and I can confirm this is the case though I would have also like HomeKit Integration as I do plan on moving over to that in the future. Setup was a simple matter of downloading the app, switching the camera on and hitting add device, the camera was found immediately and on connection automatically updated to the latest firmware. Picture clarity is excellent, motion detection & Human detection work flawlessly and pan tilt is easy to control. I have a very clinical desk setup so wanted something that didn't detract from this, the main purpose being as an added layer of security when I'm away from my desk, this definitely fits the bill, I particularly like that it isn't on a flimsy stand so sits securely on the desk. For those not keen on a free standing camera, a mount is supplied in the box. I may have to look into more Switchbot products if they all work as well as this.
