I like that it has a code AND a key option

We like the size and also the fact that you can lock it with a key or combination.File size without folding is a plus. Because its fireproof, beware that it has an odor, so after airing it in the garage opened, we then filled it with our imp papers etc., and placed it in the fitted box.We replaced this one for the reason that it is fireproof.

I needed a larger fire box to hold some Important legal size papers. I have a smaller one to hold passport etc. but this one is large enough to fit quite a bit. Hopefully I will never need to see if it works but will be easy to grab and run if needed.

The media could not be loaded. I was given this Document Box for free in order to provide an unbiased review as a part of Amazon's Vine program. I tested this box for its fireproof feature with a large multi-purpose lighter (purchased from Amazon) and found that while it left a scorch mark, the box remained impervious to the flame (see video). I was even more impressed by the additional fireproof pouch. It is made of a thick, slick-coated fabric. I could see using it for paper bills or coins. My favorite feature is the dual optional locking system. I can use a combination code or a key -- and the combination can be easily reset. It's also a plus that two keys are included. Additionally, this box is heavy and looks to be durable. I hope this helps you.

Thickness is great, easy to open, made of good quality steel, safety is great and the size is excellent. Performance is good too.

Gave this as a gift. Recipient loved it. Said it was very versatile, with many security options. A good buy.
