Cleaned my paint brushes that I thought were not salvageable by soaking in the solution over night. No odor. Easy to wash out with soap and water.

Does not work for oil paint, I bought two thinking I’d use it but unfortunately it doesn’t and they don’t do returns even with my second package being unopened. Now I have to buy another and wasted money!

This IMPRESA 32oz Paint Brush Cleaner & Restoring Liquid worked very well for cleaning my paint brushes that we use in activities when we are doing sip and paint classes. We use acrylic paint and this works good at cutting through it, then I rinse them off. It seems like it helps condition the brushes also.

There is a slight odor, I would suggest using it in a well ventilated area.Installation/setup: Wet your dirty brushes with the liquid, letting it soak for as long as needed, wipe off any paint and rinse thoroughly.Final thoughts: I got this because I ran across some quality brushes for cheap at a yard sale and they were pretty dirty with some dried paint and dirt caked in them. I used this for a couple of my brushes that had a small amount of dried acrylic paint on them. I soaked them for 24 hours, as the directions suggest. After then using soap and water some of the paint came off, but it didn't totally clean the brushes. I also didn't notice any revitalizing effect on the bristles. There is a faint paint thinner smell, but not too bad.

Not good for oil based paint

This paint brush cleaner is easy to use, the directions say to fill a small glass with enough cleaner to cover the brush and soak for 24 hours, then you wash the brush with soap and water. This product easily removes dried paint. All of this is a tremendous bonus and a great money saver. We usually soak our brushes overnight anyway so that is not an additional step for us. This cleaner and restore will help keep our paint brushes viable for a much longer period of time.
