We needed a mouthguard for Flag Football. This brings 2 mouth pieces and a strap for each. To fully protect your child's mouth it must be molded to their measurements. To mold you have to fist cut to fit your child's mouth. Then place it in hot water/boiling (description says 80 degrees) for about 20 seconds (description says 10-15 sec). Next, insert in mouth and firmly press with teeth and hand to mold teeth sizing correctly. Lastly, place in cold water for about 20 seconds. We didn't have to cut it, because it fit my son's mouth well. Other than adding a few more seconds to the molding , these are great, especially having a backup set.

These are basic pieces that once heated up in hot water will conform to your teeth. You can also cut them with scissors to help fit better on your mouth but be careful not to leave sharp edges.

This is a good set of mouthguards for the price. I like that they're simple, and the fit is nice when molded properly.

These are excellent professional style mouth guards from MESUADESI.Each of the mouthpieces in this 2-pack is made from food-grade EVA. (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate is a naturally stretchy polymer that has a rubber-like softness and flexibility.) They have a blue inner gel layer that is easily custom fit to the teeth by a 10 – 20 second submersion in hot water. Meanwhile, the outer layer remains stiff to provide impact resistance.The strap is very convenient during fitting, giving you something to hold onto while the mouth guard is in boiling water. After fitting, it can be removed or left on to attach to a face guard or mask.These are great, inexpensive mouth guards that offer added protection for contact sports. Contact and combat sports can really put your head and teeth in danger. Having a mouth guard that protects your teeth can also protect your head by letting you bite down to brace for the impact.This EVA material used in these mouthguards is hard, though after a bath in piping hot water, was able to nicely shape to my specific teeth. The resulting shape meant I could talk, breath and move comfortably, but I could also bite down for impacts.I did remove the strap to attach it to a helmet as I don't need that, but that just took a sharp tug.Overall, this 2-pack does offer a solid value and they're easy to shape to your own bite, though overall size might be a bit larger than other guards on the market.

Tried molding to teeth but product wasn’t getting soft enough. Was able to finally after multiple attempts get a mold to work. Great for boxing/wrestling.

These mouth guards are the perfect match to any bite, when you follow the directions step by step. Easy to talk, breath and drink from a sports bottle. Attached is a strap if you have a helmet that you need to attach it to. My grandson is boxing, so we cut of the strap with scissors. After the boil, these are custom fit and secure. The guard is made of tough material, and you can custom cut in order to fit to the contours of your mouth. My grandsons boxing gym wanted to charge twice the cost for only one set. This is a 'Knockout'. ;)

Once it was dropped in pan to boil it immediately melted ONE SECOND!
