Best Mini Multi-Tool I Own—Compact and Reliable
Best Mini Multi-Tool I Own—Compact and ReliableThe SOG PowerPint is an excellent mini multi-tool. Despite its compact size, it has 18 well-designed functions, including pliers, a pocket knife, and other essentials. The stainless steel build feels solid and durable, while still being lightweight enough for everyday carry. This is a very cool tool and easily the best mini multi-tool I own. I’ve collected several for myself and even gifted a few—they’ve all been a hit. Compact, reliable, and super handy to have on hand for everyday carry or small tasks.

Compact, Tough, and Packed with Useful Tools
Small but mighty! The PowerPint is a perfect EDC multitool — compact, lightweight, and surprisingly capable. The pliers feel strong, the scissors are sharp, and all tools open smoothly. Fits easily in any pocket or pouch. Great balance between portability and function for daily carry or light tasks.

Very decent small-sized multitool, but not the absolute best.
This tool is a lot better than I expected it to be. The plier jaws use SOG's compound leverage mechanism, which means they don't open quite as wide as pliers of comparable size, but they easily grip at least 2x tighter, maybe more. It has the standard array of tools, all of which are accessible when the tool is in the closed position, which for me is a big plus. The knife blades are decent, a bit on the small side, but not as nice as what you'd get in a Victorinox SAK (Maybe this is an unfair comparison, but I love Victorinox SAKs). The scissors are nicer than I was expecting. They can cut paper, stray shirt threads, even trim fingernails. This is generally how I view all of the tools in this multitool. They're all decent and functional, but not top-tier. None of them are garbage, but none of them are amazing. they're all just "pretty good", with one significant exception...My absolute favorite feature is the fact that, when the tool is in the closed position, you can grip a standard 1/4" screwdriver bit in the hinge mechanism. If you are unfamiliar, this is the type of bit used in standard/common exchangeable bit screw drivers (not the double ended type). This bit-grip mechanism works VERY well. I've been working in I.T. for 25 years. This little guy has been my backup screwdriver since the day I bought it.The knife blades (one straight edge, one serrated edge) are not bad. They can open Amazon boxes, envelopes, etc. I'd 100% call them "light duty" blades. This is a very compact tool, especially considering it's a pliers-based tool. It's more or less about as large as a standard swiss army knife (maybe very slightly wider), but it has a pocket clip, so it can live securely in the fifth pocket/zippo pocket of your pants. This little tool is quite easy to use and while it could be less expensive, I don't feel that it is overly expensive. If you already have a swiss army knife (or other small multitool) that you like to use, you do not need this tool. However, if you do not yet have a small multitool (Victorinox/Leatherman/etc.) this is one you should absolutely consider.

Very handy pocket multi tool
Very handy pocket multitool. It can go almost anywhere because of how compact it is. The tools provided are decent quality, about what one could expect at this price range. The knives are quite small so they can't be expected to hold up to too much abuse, but that is not what this tool was made for anyway. The stonewashed finish looks quite nice and hides scratches.Overall I'm glad I bought the tool it goes with me almost everywhere since I've had it and come in handy more times than I can count.

Awesome for small to tiny things
This knife is really great. The tools in it pull out easily. They’re easy to separate too. When you use it you’ll see what I mean. The tools in it are smaller than I’ve seen in other similar knives/tools which I find to be extremely useful. A lot of small knives out there have rather large tools. Since most of the stuff I work on is small this is awesome. The knife is keeping its edge. There are a couple of problems with it in my opinion. It doesn’t like to stay folded up. If nothing is next to it it opens up in my pocket (hanging on the inside bit clipped on the outside). Obviously not all of the way. And another is that the scissors are wickedly dull. They wouldn’t even cut paper when I first got it.

Great idea with lots of room for improvement.
Really nice pocket pliers with about half of it pretty well thought out.Overall nice:✔️ Clip is great✔️ Overall form factor is great.Good for heavy duty:💯 Pliers punch way above their weight. Easily best in class.✅ File is one of the best I've seen✅ 1/4 inch bit holder is great. You can imagine interesting uses for this.✅ Awl is very good. Actually useful as a punching tool.Light/emergency use only:⛔ Scissors are so bad it was nearly a deal breaker.⛔ Knives are stamped out.Borderline false advertising:❌ Hard wire cutting - you shouldn't have expected this to begin with.❌ Philips and flathead screwdrivers are bad. Don't expect them to work/fit when you need them to.❌ Can opener seems legitimately dangerous to use.❌ Protractor? 😂The victorinox rambler covers everything this doesn't (scissors, tweezers, good philips head, good flat head) and I feel like the pliers, file, awl, and bit holder make this worth it. And honestly, the pliers are good enough that I might use them to remove splinters over tweezers anyway.
