Having used wire nuts and cursing them for decades, I was delighted to see the Wago YouTube video. I immediately ran out to get them. They simplify the whole connection process. I have heard there are fake Wago connectors out there. I wouldn't know how to spot them. I received these connectors and immediately used them to swap out a faulty wire nut connection. Just shove the wire in and close the lever. Don't have to use electrical tape to hold the wire nut on. Done.

I think these connectors are good. I found the levers a bit hard to raise sometimes, but I'm old and have a bit of arthritis. They have a recess on the underside to show you what length of insulation to strip off. You need to do the pull test to ensure that the wire is clamped. This test leaves no doubt. It will either be clamped or not. If the wire isn't clamped it usually means you didn't insert the wire far enough before bringing the lever down.

If you are needing to splice wires, this is the solution you have been missing for your whole life. Easy, Effective, and Secure.

The levers are a little tight to open but thy work so well. I did an entire room with recessed lights, outlets, and switches in no time. Wago make a slimline version that works even better in smaller boxes.

Handy as heck. Easy to use. I use mostly the 4 and 5 port ones. Because you have more pin slots to add additional power on the positive wire and also the negative wire. Great invention. Love them.

Much better then wire nuts

Makes the job so much easier. Very useful and fast.

watched a video about these and read reviews....but my first experience is that they didn't work. Would NOT clamp on the strand wire, repeated just fell off. Ended up having to use wire nuts. Will try using them again on a different project and hope for the best.
