I love me a good fort, but I tire of my couch cushions being dragged all over the house. And my kids tend to knock down their creations and then beg for help to fix them. Not so with this set! While the options of what you can build are a little limited with one set (as the squares aren't too big), the house, castle, and rocket are all fun shapes that keep my kids occupied for a loooong time. Sometimes I have to take a ball off and rotate it to get the holes to line up correctly with where the posts are supposed to go, but I'm not great with mechanical stuff, so that might be user error. (Do make sure to always have the star part on the connector balls facing up!)The structures are sturdy enough to throw a large blanket or sheet over to make a protected space. And although the posts are on the thinner side, they seem to be holding up okay so far to regular play. Given that this set is only $24 at time of review, I think it's a great deal and product.

Comes apart too easy but hard to put together, my 7 yr old has a hard time putting it together. Glowing is nice, sheet that comes with it is too short. 4 stars maybe 3

This is a pretty cool toy. There are a few different ways you can design a fort and the instructions show you clearly how to. They are also universal enough to create your own design if you want. We like to drape a sheet over to complete the fort. It is sturdy, but I recommend a sheet instead of anything heavier. It is easy to assemble, my son does the building and doesn't need any help.

This kit would do a lot better for a little older of the kiddos. They need to be strong and have a good sense of dexterity. There are lots of poles and a big sheet at home can turn almost any creation into an instant fort. I would need a lot of pieces for all 3 of my kids to play together well, but that comes in time.

All the granddaughters love this for building system. It’s durable and is easy to store in the box.

This is a pretty cool set, but kid hands aren't strong enough to get the rods inserted into the balls. I care for kids and am... not young, and my hands with their trigger fingers/thumb can't get a good enough grip to get these parts attached to one another. My husband can, but what kid hands CAN do is take these things apart, and constantly rebuilding just isn't in the daily mix. SO - It's a great concept, but only for the ideal situation.

Building activity for kids . My little one loves it . Great price as well .

This definitely requires adults to assist when they’re brand new.. I’m hoping this goes away when they’ve been used and broken in a bit, but ultimately it inspires creative thinking and they are super lightweight that the kiddo can move the structure over if they’re unhappy with its location. Seems to hold blankets well enough, would be nice to see if it could work with other sets to make even bigger forts.

My granddaughters loved making their own forts. I would suggest an adult help in building since it might be challenging for young children to fully assemble. Nice set, recommended!

This kit is a really great size for more than one child. My three really enjoyed building with it. Only down side are the balls being a bit difficult for small hand to fit the sticks into. The older kids had no problems. It comes with a sheet which is small but usable. All pieces are well made and sturdy.

This fort frame has been very popular in our house; however, you do need an adult to assemble it. Our older 12 year old had been enjoying making different shapes and practicing geometry. For our younger one, we put it together either in the living room or backyard and throw sheets over it to create a secret fort (the included cloth is no where near big enough); she loves it, and it does save the furniture from doubling as walls and roof. This is a really fun item once it is put together, but you will not be taking it apart and reassembling it every day. Right now, it is working great in the backyard decorated with lights and we have story time in there. As a kid - this is a 5 star toy; as a parent, if you were expecting them to build it on their own, not so much. It is no more work than any toy that requires assembly, once you get used to that. I would recommend it because they like it so much.
