Cons - rim is small and curls up rather too much! *by P***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 22 September 2012* The photo shows that the rim goes straightish at least out to the left of the photo. My hat has a rim that curls up to at least 90 degrees from flat, all round, and shows quite a lot of the tartan inner lining. However, as a lightweight fold flat hat, it is great and feels and looks interesting. I was not happy that I put it with other clothes and it left patches of wax on their surface. However, for the price and the flexibility (literally), I would say that it is impressive! Sometimes, you just don't want to wear a hood and it is ideal but, like others, the depth of the rim is not as in the photo on the left as you look at it. More like the rim on the right of the photograph, all round!
