The head breaks easily, and then its another 50$ to order another... lasted maybe a month.

One of the benefits of using the titanium replacement head is that it lasts longer. You oil the five heads weekly and replace it annually. A very good value for the money. The blades are tough and provide a close and smooth shave.

So this thing shaves my head like a dream. A couple of minutes and done with a nice close shave. I cleaned the heads every use and even applied oil as instructed. After a few shaves (3-4?) the thing refused to turn on. I removed the heads re-cleaned repeatedly with no luck and couldn't see anything in the blades. THEN out of sheer frustration, I washed the blades by submersing in water and shaking it. OMG! A LOT of hair trimmings that weren't visible by visual inspection during cleaning just clouded the water! Rinsed and installed on the base and works like a dream. NOW AT THE END OF EACH SHAVE I run the blades under the tap while still on for a few seconds to loosen and "mudify" anything in the blades and then remove and rinse clean. I have never had an issue with it since.

Just not usable anywhere near my ears. Could be incompatibility with my XR7000 unit but more likely the new little green gizmos and the looser fit of the blades causing vibration. I'm returning it and ordering one that looks more like the original. This would have been easier if Remington put model numbers on their gear.
