**Q: is it completely clear or just transparent?**
A: Hi - Sorry but it must have been several years ago I bought this. I no longer have it in my possession but I do recall it was sufficiently clear to see through and read the details on all the cards. You are right to ask - take nothing for granted these days - and you're right to imply that if it weren't see through it would not be worth buying. It was. It kept everything tidy for 2-3 years that I can recall. Good luck (and a Merry Christmas!)

**Q: how do these plastic wallets fit into my leather holder? do they have a separate flap to slide into a opening in my wallet/holder?**
A: The outside plastic sheets are single and the rest are pockets.  Yes the outside single sheets slip into the sides of your credit card holder (if you have them).  Depending on the pocket side the outside sheets can be carefully trimmed to fit
