Good quality
Good quality, mixes well, has great clarity and no obnoxious smell. It cures and demoulds as claimed, but that does vary depending upon the size and shape of the item. I do try to leave things as long as possible after the initial demould to let them fully hardened. As a kit it's quite basic. While the resin itself is good, the wooden stirrers and plastic pots are really just to get you going out of the box. I'd highly recommend adding some silicone stirrers and pots if you get hooked. It'll just make the clean up so much easier and less single use products going in the bin!Good quality resin and a taster of a great hobby.

Easy to use with great results and no chemical smell.
The first thing I liked was the tops. Simple to unscrew with no child locks. Inside there is a second ring pull type plus which seals the container. Simple but secure and will help the product to last. As stated, mix 1:1 by volume, so you can use the little caps provided. 40-minute working time, so lots of time to pour into your moulds. 4-6 hour release, you should in theory be able to remove the items from the mould at this stage. But I prefer to leave them until fully cured in 24 hours. The resulting item is like a hard clear plastic. Both components are very fluid and pour easily, this fluidity makes it great for flowing around the mould and into small details. It also makes it self-levelling. As shown with my shell, if you keep your mould level then the base of the item will be flat. Another advantage to the liquidity is that combined with the long working time, this allows the bubbles to escape, giving a clear finish.Mixing is simple, but as both components are clear, there is nothing visually to say the parts are mixed thoroughly. if you are adding a pigment colour, simply mix the two components until you see a uniform colour. But with the clear, this is difficult to know. I always double mix… measure out both components and pour one into the other, mix thoroughly. Then pout the mix into a fresh clean cap and continue mixing, this helps avoid unmixed liquid on the sides or bottom of the original caps.As shown in the photos I made a simple two-part silicone mould of a seashell. I then cast the shell using this clear epoxy with a touch of blue pigment added and some small pieces of sea glass. I am very impressed with the level of detail obtained. You can see it next to the original shell. Alternatively, you can buy pre-made silicone moulds. I have also used this product with silver jewellery and colours to create “cold enamel” effects.Very simple to mix and pleasant to use. A little sticky if you get it on your fingers, so use gloves. The best thing is that there is no chemical smell with this product.

Good results
Really good resin for large projects. Sets perfectly clear, and takes pigments well.Includes everything you need to get started in epoxy resin, you just need to supply a mould you want to use.Used some blue mica powder, and red and yellow glitter and did a two part fill. Clear glitter in the middle, and then a small amount of blue around the outside. It cured really well no bubbles, and perfectly smooth. After about 12hours this 1cm thick slice was almost cured, it was still slightly soft. After 24hours it was super hard and ready to be used.Highly recommend putting lots of paper down, makes cleaning up after so much easier. It’s really hard to get epoxy resin out of things like cloth once it starts to set, or even off wood etc. There is plenty of time to use the epoxy resin after mixing, don’t rush it. The sticks included are ok for mixing, the pots are a little thin so don’t be too forceful you will be throwing them away after anyway. For more complex designs, you might want to get some toothpicks or cuticle sticks, this will allow you to put small amounts of coloured resin in things like eye sockets/lips etc if you’re doing faces, or in petals on flower moulds etc. It also helps if you want to push through an area with a pigment powder or add things like glitter. We’ve even added some dried flowers from the craft section to our resin pours and they’ve come out great but you really do need to coat them fully and a few extra smaller sticks would be most helpful.Overall, a really nice amount of resin for several tries at smaller projects or a couple of bigger ones.

Promising Resin with a Steep Learning Curve: My First Epoxy Experience
The media could not be loaded. As a first-time epoxy resin user, my experience with this product was a mixed bag. The kit arrived well-packaged and included essential accessories, along with a basic instruction manual. The product claims to be easy to manipulate and beginner-friendly, but I found this wasn't entirely accurate. The included gloves were flimsy and offered little protection, while the measuring cups lacked a pour spout, making precise measurements and pouring difficult. This led to quite a messy experience.Using a "Death Star" silicone mould for my first attempt, I encountered numerous air bubbles in the finished product. Despite my best efforts to remove them, the results were less than satisfactory. (See attached images for reference.) After a 24-hour curing period, I also noticed some uncured resin at the bottom of the mould.Overall, I believe this epoxy resin has potential, but it requires a certain level of skill and additional tools to achieve optimal results. Investing in better-measuring cups, a resin mixer, more durable gloves, and a vacuum chamber for bubble removal would likely significantly improve the outcome. While this product may not be the most beginner-friendly option, I'm determined to refine my technique and try again with better equipment. For now, I would recommend this product to those with some experience in working with epoxy resin.
