Hydro Flask 18 Oz Kids Wide Mouth Straw Cap And Boot Grass

I got this Hydro Flask kids water bottle for school and it’s been great so far. It keeps water cold basically all day, which is a big plus, and the straw lid makes it super easy for kids to drink without spilling everywhere. It feels really sturdy too—definitely holds up to drops and being tossed around in a backpack. The size is just right for school, and it fits in most cup holders. Only small downside is it can be a little pricey, but the quality makes up for it. Overall, a solid, reliable bottle for everyday use.

This is our favorite water bottle to date for our toddler and we have tried them all! Leakage: Let me preface by saying our little guy is 2.5. This is important because it advertises for 3 and up. The cup will leak if the straw portion of the cap is left open and the bottle is full and tips over, so if your child doesn’t quite understand to close the lid you may end in some frustration but he has been capable of remembering to shut it since 2. We loved our contigos that didn’t leak but the reason we switched was cleanliness. Cleanliness: this is where this water bottle in particular takes the cake. We have tried the plastic Contigo and the stainless steel Contigo, and while we loved each of those for different reasons in different seasons of his growth, it was impossible to keep the lid and mouthpiece completely clean and mold free. Nothing is more frustrating than using the tiniest of brushes and toothbrushes to try and clean a cap and nothing seems to work. This one is so simple and has minimal parts and crevices to clean. The straw is easily removed, the rubber ring is easy to remove, and the plastic mouthpiece is much easier to clean than the rubber ones. Hallelujah! The rubber on the bottom is easily removed to clean underneath. Durability: So far it has survived some falls from the dining table and countertops, sliding around on our wooden deck and we have no scratches or dents! I for sure thought he would have caused some damage by now but I’m very impressed with the strength of this bottle! The rubber bottom seems to make a difference Grip: East for little hands! Our son particularly likes to hold the loop that is on the cap, but the bottle is slim enough for little hands to easily hold it while drinking and the rubber on the bottom adds additional grip so it’s not sliding through hands and falling.

My son is 8, and this is the first water bottle he has ever actually liked. He will only drink water if it's cold, and even he has been surprised at how long it stays cold in this bottle! I chose this over some of the other big brands because he prefers to use a straw. I was really surprised how inexpensive this one was compared to some others. 100% value for money!

I am an adult senior woman. I find large water jugs intimidating. This size is perfect - and I love the built in star too. This was my 2nd one. It's easy to drink all the water in this and then (and it's not too heavy to carry around when full). Our thirst reflex deteriorates as we age so I am conscious of how much water I drink daily. I'd never finish a huge one and I'd just give up mentally on trying to. But psychotically I can finish one of these and then refill a couple of times during the day. Also keep one by my bed for the night. When the top is closed they don't spill. Great colors too. Love them. Highly recommend for all ages.

Wanted a high quality water bottle for the school year and liked the protective bottom on this one after previous bottom dented from typical “kid use”. After first washing, rust spot showed up on inside. After a month, there are now 4 rust spots. Went to ask for a replacement and read that even with the warranty, the user is required to pay shipping to return the faulty product *if* after providing photos the request is approved, and once submitting, it takes 5-7 business days for a reply due to heavy volume. Seems like Hydro Flask has changed something as I would never have expected this in the past. And hardly seems worth the run around, time lag, and cost to return. Unless they address this, we won’t be spending more for a “premium” water bottle again. Photo shows rust spots (hard to photograph). In the background, one of 5 older Hydro Flasks that never had this problem.

This water bottle has a nice design, easy to clean, doesn’t leak unless the lid isn’t screwed on correctly & super durable. It’s survived my toddler throwing it around outside without a single dent.

Good water bottle, but arrived damaged with someone else’s name written on the bottom!
