very good value and does the job of detection very well , just follow the written instruction and you will have no trouble. But never take chances when detecting for electrical wires ,make sure you have turned off the electricity at the mains , live electric does not allow you to make mistakes so switch off and be safe .

Excellent item simple to use and very accurate picks up stud and metal pipe location very accurately. Also very sensitive live wire detector. Battery operated and easy to store. Essential to avoid any mishaps when drilling walls.

Like many of these cheap type of stud finders, I wasn't expecting to be over the moon but I did expect it to pick up something. Unfortunately after testing it didn't pick up any studs, wires or metals. In fact having build a stud wall myself i knew where the studs should have been but this was beeping randomly and was not accurate. I had to then send it back.
