Glad I went with this one it’s quality and apparent strength is definitely reassuring. Will definitely purchase again if I need to add QD to future rails.

I ordered the Troy QD 360 mount and got it today. I can say with 100% certainty that the body is made from some kind of aluminum. It failed the magnet test and is very light weight, too light to be stainless steel. The included screw is steel and a magnet will stick to it. I'm a little disappointed because I was hoping for steel, a little worried about long term wear. I only give it four stars because there are no specs listed in the Amazon description or even the Troy website. Troy is a trusted name, I'd expect them to have more product information available.All this being said, I haven't installed or used it yet. I'll update my review when I give it a fit and function test.

Very Solid Construction - Near perfect.However, the screw's diameter is just large enough to prevent a QD swivel from fully inserting, thus will not hold the qd. Almost thought I had defective mount till I tried it with out the screw in place, and that's when I realized what was going on. if there was just another cm of space to go into the QD would not pop out. This does however slit right into the rails just right, and needs another method to keep it from moving around, then works great.

I purchased this rail for an Echo1 Troy TRX M7A1 rail, as I saw madbull and mlok rails allegedly do not work with these TRX handguards.I am not sure if this is the fault of Troy or Echo1, but the official Troy rail segment does not fit the holes on the handguard, which is Licensed as a Troy TRX handguard. One the mounting points are off by about a quarter inch from sitting flush in the TRX mounting holes, if one of the two mounting points were to sit correctly. You can secure the rail section in one hole but not the other. This causes the rail section to not be stable and WILL NOT hold your accessories securely on the rail.I am disappointed with this incompatibility. Buyers beware if the intended handguard to mount is an Echo1 Troy TRX, it will likely not work for you at all, despite being a licensed product.

Was a little bit of a hassle to mount, but nothing that couldn't be accomplished with a bit of perseverance. Perfect size to mount a slanted foregrip with room to connect your sling in the integrated QD Swivel Hole. Definitely go with the 5.4" inch version if this is your intended application.

Great quality product. Doesnt really fit my quad rail that well (could barely get it on the first notch) as its a little bit too narrow. Got it on though and its nice and secure. QD attachment on my magpul ms3 sling fits perfectly. Will work perfectly for my needs.

I bought this without the swivel because I already have a set up on another rifle. I simply push the buttons and move the sling from one rifle to another. Hence the need for this mount.It's a nice piece and seems sturdy. Low profile and fits very well on my rifle. Great price too. I saw the name Troy Ind and was unfamilar with the less expensive brands out there so I went with this one.

I have not had a chance to use this in the field, but the product fit correctly on the pic rail, and the QD sling fit correctly without any issues.
