No better replacement for an Apple Remote
Designed specifically to replace the Apple Remote, it replicates all of the functions, including Siri, and I think it does some things better. It paired automatically with the Apple TV 4K, and even knew the code to control my TV volume with IR, without any setup. I don’t have anything that uses the Guide button, but the Menu button serves as the Back/Up button in all apps.It doesn’t have a built in battery so you don’t need to charge it, just put a couple of AAA batteries in and you’re good to go.It lacks the heft of the solid chunk of aluminum original remote, but it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The buttons fell off our Apple Remote, which led to needing a replacement, so it’s not exactly a paragon of durability anyway.Oh! And the backlight is fantastic when you’re using it in a dark home theater, even after you get used to the button layout.I haven’t tried it with our soundbar, and there are no instructions how to pair it with anything other than the Apple TV. The lack of documentation is the only major flaw. All things considered, I still strongly recommend it.

Finally—A Travel Remote That Just Works
Every time we travel, we bring an Apple TV to plug into the rental's TV and keep things easy. But more than once, we’ve either forgotten the remote or grabbed the wrong one that wasn’t already paired. And if you’ve ever tried to set up an Apple TV without a paired remote and no pre-established Wi-Fi connection? You know you’re stuck in a vicious cycle of tech doom.So I went looking for a fix—something we could keep permanently with our travel supplies. I found this replacement remote and was intrigued by the claim that it could pair without needing Wi-Fi or jumping through the Apple TV settings menu.To be honest, I wasn’t optimistic. These things never just work. But guess what? This one did. I unboxed it, aimed it at the Apple TV, and boom—it paired instantly. No setup screen, no manual, no tech-induced rage spiral. It just worked. Now it lives in our travel bag, and I never have to worry about this particular brand of vacation frustration again. It's simple, reliable, and does exactly what it promises—which in the world of remotes, is pretty rare.

Works perfectly with Apple TV 4K A2843
The original remote that came with my Apple TV is very high quality but is too small for my big hands, is very slippery, and has the mic button on the side which I was constantly hitting. This remote solves all those issues. It is slightly wider, about 25% longer, twice as thick, and the back is textured plastic. It functions just like the original remote. Pairing it was simple; insert batteries, pressed a couple of buttons and the Apple TV prompted me to move the remote close to the Apple TV. Moved it to within a couple inches and the pairing completed automatically. It seamlessly duplicates all the button functions of the original remote and the buttons light up when touched.I am very happy with this remote and highly recommend it.

Center Button is Annoying
Easy to setup and works well, including voice. My only complaint is that the center round button isn’t pause like every other remote on the market. So you’ll have to retrain your brain. I press it ALL the time thinking it’s going to pause.

Best Apple TV Remote! But no guidance on TV/Receiver control
Like this remote so much better than the Apple remotes, or even the Function 101 remote, which is good, but not enough raised tactile dots on the buttons except in the center, for using without looking at it or in the dark. This doesn't have a touchpad, just the direction ring, which feels a bit stiff at first, but works so well! All buttons light so you can see them in the dark! The mute button is just below volume down, have to get used to not pressing it by mistake. All buttons are easy to find only by feel once you learn the layout.Only criticism is that you are given ZERO information, even on the One For All website for this product, on how you configure using it to control Volume/Mute on your TV/Receiver etc. I just assumed the IR would work for everything, it did not. It is actually functionally identical to an Apple TV remote, so you go into your Apple TV configuration, and can set it up to control audio devices over HDMI or IR.

What better experience than the Apple TV remote
Have never had an Apple Remote that I was happy with, try to move the remote the left, right, up, or down they would always get stuck and move all the way to the end of the page. Or it would not work at all. Finally tried everything, brought the new Apple TV and same issue with the new remote. So I googled and found a review of the “One For All” remote.I put the batteries in and pushed power on and nothing happened. Thought oh well here we go, then all of a sudden it started working, so it may take a minute after you put the batteries in to start working, but that being said: this remote works and no headaches of the original. Apple makes a great product as far as Apple TV, they need to take notes from “One For All” on how to build a better remote.

Easy to setup and use
Very easy to setup, simple to use and good quality for cost. Comfortable to hold in one hand and doesn't feel like it will slip out of hand. Glad that it also supports voice to search.

So far so bad
So far, so bad. With new batteries, it won’t power on.
