Sturdy and easy to assemble
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Zinus Rumi 14 inch Queen Metal Bed Frame. Assembly was straightforward, with clear instructions and all the hardware included, so it came together without any frustration. Once assembled, it felt very sturdy and didn’t squeak or wobble. The 14 inch height provides plenty of under bed storage, which is a nice bonus, and I love that there’s no need for a box spring. It gives great support for the mattress while keeping everything looking clean and simple. Overall, it’s an excellent value for the price and a bed frame I’d happily recommend.

Good for the Price
I purchased the queen size. It is rated at 1400 pounds. It is stable, strong, quiet and supports the mattress well. Assembly is straight forward and simple using the combined detail and assembled drawings. All tools needed are provided but I did use thread lock and pliers are handy for the wing nuts. The frame is light enough but I recommend assembly near where the bed well be used. I assembled the frame on another bed to minimize bending over or working on the floor. A competitors bed frame with a weight rating of 2500 pounds was offered at about 50% more cost. The Zinus frame will only be used occasionally as a spare bed room. The Zinus frame is designed and manufactured well enough to last a long, long time unless subjected to routine trampoline conditions.

Noise Level: Product Performs as Advertised!
Package arrived in good condition, upon opening and inspecting all materials and hardware were accounted for. Clear and simple assembly, made easy with provided tools and instructions. Once fully built and bed was placed on top of frame, which fit my full mattress like a glove, virtually no noise was made from the frame while I was sitting up and down on it. Vertical movement proves to be virtually silent, very nice! Little tip if you have hardwood floors like myself, to avoid the frame from creaking under horizontally applied movement (think sitting on the bed and rocking back and forth), I would recommend placing a small wedge of a material that slides smoothly over the hardwood floor, yet still provides some semblance of grip on the floor. The rubber feet grip too well, causing the feet to remain in place as the legs of the frame lean to one side causing a creaking noise. I literally cut up and old sock and used dryer sheets for the middle. Worked like a charm, bed now makes little to no noise when horizontal movement is applied. Awesome! Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly and sturdy bed frame, this is it!

I like it
Friend put it together. Very sturdy. Good quality. Delivered in 1 day. Saved me because I had ordered a brass bed from a dealer on Amazon and the durn company DID NOT INCLUDE AND WOULD NOT SEND HARDWARE. So, I was sleeping on a mattress on my floor with no bed frame. This platform bed was a good deal, $65 including taxes for a full-size. Friend came over and put it together for me and they said it was super easy. I am so thankful for the quick delivery (next day) and how sturdy it is. Saved me in a pinch!

This frame is absolute garbage
This frame is supposed to be used without a box spring, but the metal slats are so narrow and so far apart, that it can't be used with just a mattress. But it's 14" high. Also, it's incredibly flimsy. Imagine a fat girl standing on top of a soda can, and it holds the weight just fine... that's what this frame is like. Bump any one of the 11 legs under a load and it will likely buckle the same way as that soda can. A child could even easily overtighten the hardware. The frame is undersized. It measures 79 5/16" by 59 1/2". A queen bed is 80x60. Pictures added. Being "foldable" is a joke. Pictures added. That's as far as it folds without disassembly, and just assembling this thing with tons of tiny parts is a huge pain in and of itself. So, to make it function for holding a mattress, you could put a sheet of plywood down. And to keep the mattress from sliding off, you can buy clips for the edge. These things would be the minimum needed to have a working bed, provided it doesn't collapse. At this point, it was easier to just build a bed frame out of dimensional lumber and the plywood platform, so I did, and it was way better than this mess. This frame will serve pretty much nobody well. I don't know why it isn't a "frequently returned item". Maybe because of how difficult it was to get the thing back in the box. It's probably easier to take to the dump, but if I'm going to do that, I have to disassemble it anyways, so might as well try and fit it back into that box. I managed to do it, and every part, bolt, washer, and even their underwhelming ratcheting wrench all fit back in that box. Not one thing missing. I pity the next person who goes to try and use it.

double check pieces first
Sturdy, not too heavy, and pretty easy to assemble. The mattress fits perfectly. I did not give this 5 stars as one of the main support pieces came with one of the arms inverted which effected the cross beams not fitting properly. We had already assembled the whole frame before we noticed the inversion. We were able to get the beams in place but clearly it was not going to function as intended. We got creative & tweaked it and it works without the beams on that side falling out. We have slept on it several times now & no problems. I would have returned it (and bought another one) if I had noticed the inverted piece prior to full assembly. I would buy again as it is sturdy, smooth/no sharp edges, good price and the mattress is nicely supported but I would inspect each piece before assembly.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE!
Frame is sturdy and very easy to assemble. It also costs about half of the frames that are fully assembled. The required tools are also enclosed, which is always a plus!!

Solid Frame
OK, so I have a few Zinus bed frames in my house, two are metal, one is wood. I didn't put the wood one together, but I did put the metal ones together. When I did those, I was a million months pregnant. Three years later, and they're still in great shape. Fast-forward to my in-laws gifting us a mattress that needed a bed frame, and my mind went straight to Zinus. My previous bed frames were really well labeled, and the instructions were crystal clear. This was a little tougher. The frame itself is great, so I'm giving this five stars. But the assembly was a little less intuitive. The labels on the instructions were fine, but the actual parts did not have labels, so you really had to sit with the diagrams to match parts to their illustrations on the blueprint. The only time it was especially difficult was for some of the screws, but they did have a size reference on the sheet where you can fit the piece into a size bubble to validate. The slats were kind of annoying to install, because they really need a thrust of force to press them in. My husband is far from small, and fallen asleep in that bed because the mattress is so comfortable and the bed frame really feels sturdy as a complement. No squeakiness, and I think it can be rigged to have a headboard, too. It doesn't come with those adapters, but allegedly they exist. This is slightly high off the ground, so you can definitely have under-bed storage, too.

Sturdy design
Well-built sturdy design where you don't trip on the bottom end of bed like other designs. Tricky assembly directions as I like to assemble right side up but directions have you build upside down
