Cast Iron 3.4 Quart Cuisine Dutch Oven Set with Dome Lid & Handles for Outdoor & Indoor Cooking by Commercial Chef

I love it! I specifically bought this to bake French and sourdough bread. I'd been looking at the cast iron bread cloches, but they are way too expensive. I then came across this and it looked perfect for what I needed, just the right size, and at a great price. I read the reviews and was concerned about the melting handle people mentioned, but surprise, mine came with a metal one! The makers apparently listened to their customers. My first bread in it has turned out perfectly, so I'm very happy. I'll make sure to watch out for rusting, as that is an issue others have had, and will just give it a good drying in a warm oven.

I bought an expensive enamelled dutch oven for my sour dough loaves but after every bake it would get dark spots all over the outside of it, even though I would scrub it immaculately before putting it in the oven.Then I saw someone suggest to use non enamelled cast iron pot and this price was so excellent that I thought I would give it a try.Very happy with my bread results. Great size for a loaf and well made.Someone mentioned that the knob was plastic but mine is not, it is cast iron and held up well in a 450 degree oven.It did have a smell when heating it in the oven at first. I would recommend for first use to heat and cool it maybe once before actually using.

Bought for my daughter, who is a master sour dough maker, and she said this was a game changer for baking her bread. She loves it, perfect size, bakes amazingly even with a beautiful ear every time.
