I loved that the magnet is strong enough to hold my mom’s phone securely with no need for fitting or buttons to release, so we purchased a second one for my dad. The magnet is not strong enough to hold my phone in a heavy leather cover, but the kit came with a metal plate, adhesive, and template to attach a magnetic target to the outside of phone covers.

I own two Andobil MagSafe Car Mounts (dashboard model and vent model) and each work great. The mounts are made well and sturdy. Each serve their purpose depending on the interior layout of your vehicle. Andobil makes high quality products, and the company also provides great customer service. Purchased for my 2019 Chevy Volt. Magnet was very strong. There was really nowhere to mount it in my car. The vent clip was awkward with most of the air flow blocked.
