Wonderful toy
Well-made, durable, colorful, fun, easy for little ones to turn the gears. The 15 month old I gave it to love objects that spin so this was an obvious choice. Melissa & Doug toys are a trusted, favorite go-to brand for me.

Great educational toy for toddlers
I love wooden toys and this one is nice. The plastic gears are a good size for little hands and colors are bright. They turn easily and smoothly. It’s good for color identification and hand-eye coordination. It is made well and will last for many more children. My 14 month old grand-daughter loves to watch the gears turn (she is still learning to do it herself)and then to pull them off. It is a good value.

Quality toy
This toy is super cute and colorful to look at! My daughter (9 months) loves turning the gears and disassembling it. Hopefully soon she can learn to assemble it herself because I feel like all I do is pick up these gear pieces all day long! I don’t know how I expected it to work but I figured it would be harder to get the gears off the caterpillar. As soon as you pick the caterpillar up the gears fall off and of course my 9 month old does not understand this hence the pieces everywhere all day long. I also do realize that she is technically a little young for this toy but I knew she would enjoy turning the gears so got it for her Easter basket a little before the recommended age. Love the quality and can’t wait to watch her learn how to put the pieces back on herself!

good distractor
I use this at work for kids to play with while I talk to their parents. Most of the kids with fine motor issues can play with it, maybe with some assistance when needed. So simple, yet the kids love it.
