Bought this speaker for my beach trip. Wasn’t worried about water or sand with this speaker. It has a very clean sound, can get pretty loud for its size. Bass is okay, but expected for speaker of this size. The build quality is great, very portable, battery lasted the entire day at the beach and night. Never had a connection problem with Bluetooth either. Overall a great speaker for the price.

Ultimate Ears Wonderboom Speaker 4 is an amazing little speaker. This is our second one (only because we lost the first). Sound quality is top notch and it’s easy to use and so portable. It’s lighter and smaller and less expensive than then the big name brand pill versions. Love the fun color choices too. This speaker is nice and loud while maintaining quality sound. It doesn't sound like it is struggling at high volumes and doesn't get distorted. It is water proof which is nice. We take it on the paddleboard and it has a nice hook for a carabiner to keep it attached. Had no issues pairing with multiple devices and the large Plus/Minus indicators for volume don't leave you fumbling to find the adjustment
