Fine Mesh with a fine mesh
I have animals - cats to be precise and was sceptical this would work for us. It may b luck but so far so good.We had tried some others but they were either cheap velcro types that didn't actually hold the mesh in place or self adhesive ones that left a mess when removed and couldn't be removed easily.Over to this set, yes it is more expensive but you get a comprehensive fixing set with it. there is the backing, it is adhesive to your frame so measure well and make your adjustments. Then there is he mesh, it is very fine, no small bugs getting through that. Again you need to be careful with installation but the instructions are good so follow closely.Then there is the top magnets which hold it all in place. They are white in colour and have nice corner finishing pieces and when installed correctly look really good, giving it a professional finish.The cats so far haven't really bothered with it, I doubt it would withstand a full attack, but they are pretty sturdy and will stay in place with fairly breezy conditions.A bit more expensive than some but worth the extra.
