Alegria Womens Jemma Sandal

I normally wear an 8.5M or Wide or a 9 medium. I ordered the size 39 in the cognac and they were PLENTY WIDE AND LONG. I would be swimming in a size 40 which is what I wear in many Euro shoes. They fit fine and look great. The top and back straps are adjustable. The toe box is very roomy and I would imagine fit a wide foot comfortably. I can wear a thin sock with these as well and still have room by adjusting the straps.UPDATE: I also ordered the PEWTER color in size 39 and they fit much better than the Cognac. The Cognac are longer and there is about a half inch showing beyond my heel. The Pewter pair fits perfectly in the length. I wish I could send the Cognac back. Another poster mentioned the length and how stupid it looks and when she ordered down a size, the strap was then too short. I can see how that would happen and that is exaclty why I kept the Cognac in the 39. I will wear them as they are but I wish they fit like the pewter color.

Alegria Jemma, extremely disappointing. Within 1-2 times of wearing these, the right toe box collapsed in and created a permanent indentation in the front toe area of shoe. I had already worn them so it seems they were no longer returnable but... Alegria has such a great reputation that I was shocked at the poor performance and make of these shoes. Not only is there a cosmetic blemish, but every time I try to wear them I'm reminded that the dent actually rubs against the top of my toes and is quite uncomfortable after a while (as well as unsightly). I work on my feet all day and had heard how great Alegria shoes are but now I'm reluctant to buy the brand again.Update- I decided to contact the company and they were happy to exchange these dented ones for a new pair. No issues with the new shoes. Very cute and comfortable for work!

I’m in the Super Tender Feet Club and has heard from other members that this brand was great. They were right!! Comfortable right out of the box, no break in period at all. The pewter is stunning! A shiny neutral! While not the most fashion-forward, I’ll happily look a little hobbit-like if it means my plantar fasciitis isn’t screaming at the end of the day. I’m fact, I think my feel are healing with wearing these to work everyday. Oh, and I usually wear a 7.5 and the 38 fits perfectly. Love.

These shoes are Soooo wonderful. I was aprehensive ordering them with so few reviews, and I was not disappointed. I take a size 8 and the 38 fit perfectly. I love that they are sandals that can also be worn as shoes. I live in Florida so the flower imprints keep them cooler without socks. I have a lot of difficulty with my feet so the adjustable straps are a plus. This will not be the last alegria shoes I order.

I liked the design and comfort except for the Velcro strap, they are too short for my feet and won't closed very well. So how can I walk comfortably especially I have neuropathy. I bought these shoes for comfort. I guess they did not worked well for my purpose.

As always, this pair of Alegria combines quality and comfort but it' a bit shorter in the toe box than my Pescas. I'm size 10.5 or 41 . Since I like them , I'm going to try inserting a wide footbed and see if that doesn't free up some room in front.

I really love this style of Alegria. The leather is buttery soft and the two adjustable straps make them super comfortable with a customized fit.I purchased the blue with the pink flowers (forgot the name of them) in the Jemma style and they are just gorgeous. I purchased them on sale in winter of 2016 and l am very much looking forward to wearing them in the Spring/Summer season of 2017. Can't wait!

these shoes are amazing! I bought on recommendation from a nurse who is on her feet all day and I am totally satisfied. The fit is identical to what I use for buying running shoes ( a little on the big side so foot swelling doesn't bring pinching. I can wear with or without socks and fit is still good and so cute!!
