This Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment by Allies of Skin is a wonderful find for me. I am the sort of person that loves to scour through ingredients, so part of my reviews always focus on that, but my skin usually has the last word. And the last thing my skin had to say about this moisturizer is that it loves it, thank you very much.This moisturizer has taught me a couple things. First, I haven't been appreciating peptides enough. And second, I also have not been paying enough attention to antioxidant ingredients. When I started using this product I was getting over a cold and my nose was all red and raw. Every time I applied this, it stung a little bit on the reddened skin and that's when I realized it was the peptides. I never gave peptides their due, but they are excellent for so many different benefits - promoting collagen/elastin production (thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles), enhanced hydration, protect against environmental damage, evening skin tone. Peptides can also have antioxidant properties, which means that they work to neutralize free radicals (which cause damage to the skin), and promote healing. Lesson learned, and I will never disregard the importance of peptides or antioxidants again.I have been using this firming moisturizer for over a week now and it has been amazing. I put it on before bed and when I get up in the morning it looks as if my skin has been sipping water all night while I slept. I have also noticed that the pores around my nose and on it are much less noticeable, and overall my skin looks smoother and healthier. It is a pleasant cream to use, it's a little darker in color, and it has no scent that I've noticed. The cream is medium weight consistency and glides on the skin nicely for even distribution. It absorbs fairly quickly and leaves no residue behind except for a subtle glow on the skin. I would have thought that the seven different peptides in this cream would have triggered my rosacea, but it has been the opposite, my skin has really calmed down and the redness is all but faded. I love this moisturizer!There is a bit of a downside, only because it is not the cleanest formula out there. This formulation contains several ingredients that are ethoxylated. Like polysorbate 20, phenoxyethanol and hydroxyethylcellulose. During the creation of these chemicals ethylene oxide (a known carcinogen) is used, which can then contaminate the final product. In addition, during this process a toxic byproduct is released, which can then also contaminate the final product. This byproduct is called 1,4-dioxane, another known carcinogen. I prefer for these ingredients not to be present, but I love this moisturizer so much I'm going to use it anyway.Another minor issue is that on the product page the brand says that all of their products are silicone free, but this product does have a silicone in it. I'm not going to write out the very long chemical name here but the last bit of it is polymethyl-silesquioxane. Normally I avoid skin care with silicones (dimethicone) because it makes my skin break out, but this particular silicone based ingredient has caused me no issues whatsoever.Anyway, this is an excellent moisturizing / firming treatment, chock full of many more skin loving ingredients than just peptides, and I am thrilled to have discovered it. Currently this firming daily treatment is selling at $125 for the 1.6 Oz tube. It is a thoughtful formulation that seems to be working for me very well, so I think that price is very reasonable. However, I did need to deduct a star for the presence of ethoxylated ingredients.RecommendedMade in the USA

Very moisturizing, but nice and light for sensitive skin. No shine, but still gives you a nice glow.I also love that there are two sizes available and will definitely order the full size!

Very good cream really works

This cream is light and moisturizing. There is no fragrance and leaves the skin feeling refreshed, absorbs quickly. The wrinkles smoothed out making my skin look firmer. The dispenser gives you just the right amount for your face. The price is high for the amount of product.

Tiny bottle & not worth the price.

While the high price of this peptides and antioxidants treatment would likely prevent me from getting again, when used every night I really can see that it makes a difference in how my skin looks the next morning. I have very dry and sensitive skin; the treatment doesn't burn or irritate my skin at all, and in the morning my skin looks refreshed and dewy. The cream is a medium consistency and absorbs very quickly into the skin without leaving any stickiness. I don't have to use a large amount as it spreads well. There's no discernable scent to it.Overall it definitely works but is very pricey. It you can afford it it's worth a try.

While the product is very hydrating, this tiny little tube is much too expensive for my senior budget. I won't be purchasing again.
