SIAGO Electric Standing Desk Adjustable 48" x 24" Sitting Standing Desk with Cable Management 3 Memory Preset Height Adjustable

I paid for this table about a year ago and because I'm still impressed by the product I thought I'd pay everyone interested a simple review. Despite getting a defective axel on the initial purchase, the manufacturer took my request for resolution very seriously and had me with a functioning desk (my first electric desk, mind you) within a couple of weeks after getting it from amazon. So if the axel doesn't loosen (like with what I had to deal with) look for guidance on "contact seller." It glides, it remembers and its unusually stable to my surprise. Of course the rating given by the manufacturer is 200 lbs of load (I'd be darned if it applied to the motor moving a desk strapped with someone sitting on it) but I don't really need to use it as chair or put tons of books on it just to get my money's worth out of it. Nevertheless, the color (brown) I got seems quite elegent and it definitely acts as furniture eye candy. Moreover, the motor is pretty smooth and easy enough to setup. I believe the assembly took me about an hour or so over with it finally functioning after the store stepping in with an defective replacement. Whatever the details of my experience with this item, I might've looked at the same company for a desk but for one with a keyboard slot. However, I specifically pulled the trigger on this purchase because of the sale price at the time. In short, good company, quality product, and well worth the investment without anything backfiring from buying it on the day I found it despite my lack of research into it. I guess I got rewarded for my taste in internet shopping! Btw, if you want to purchase this or one of the many other variants I'd strongly suggest using a ruler to plan out the size that suits you. Me, I just got the smallest and cheapest one and its still a great pick. Because this is an electric desk be sure to consider the lowest it can go as suitable as despite its versatility it still has its lower and upper bounds of height (72-100 cm, if I recall correctly).

Muy buen producto! pero las medidas son 47 in x 23.5 in y no 48 x 24. Bastante facil de armar, bonito, el motor funciona sin problemas (compré la versión de 1 motor) Materiales de calidad (La tabla en sí le doy 8.5/10, bastante buena para el precio pero si he probado algunos escritorios con calidad que se siente más "premium", pero bastante bien). Uso computadora + 2 monitores de 27in, me doy cuenta que vibran un poco al escribir en el teclado, nada que moleste pero nuevamente es un punto para decir que el escritorio no es el más "macizo" jajaa. Pero claro que lo volvería a comprar, quizá un poquito mas grande.

Finished assembling the desk over the weekend. First going to give the seller 5* for being very responsive. My desk was delivered to the wrong address - through no fault of the seller. The actual address it was delivered to is a house that is currently for sale.. The realtor gave the package to a neighbor, who brought it to me a day or 2 later. Throughout the week that the package was "missing", the seller was very responsive. Thank you Simon. Now on to the actual desk. All of the parts and hardware were present -- including a small package of spare parts. The machining of the metal parts is very good. No rough edges. No imperfections in the paint or powder coating. Screws catch their threads easily and there is very little initial cross-threading. The motor is silent and raises and lowers the desk very smoothly. The instructions are fairly clear and easy to follow. All told it took about 30 - 40 minutes to assemble the desk. I bought the rustic brown version and that comes with a solid wooden top in 3 pieces that are joined together with dowels and brackets. It looks like 1/2 inch pine (or some other softwood) plywood - so you do have to pay attention to how tight you are screwing in the brackets so as not to compress the wood. I would have liked it to have a 3/4 inch top (and would have paid extra for that) but the 1/2 inch is fine.
