Musikalischer Player mit Hi-End-Ambitionen und kompletter Ausstattung. Dieser Streamer-DAC dürfte wohl der Preis-/Leistungssieger bei den HiFi-tauglichen Abspielern dieser Gerätegattung sein. Er lässt sich zudem an die Raumakustik und den persönlichen Klangvorstellungen anpassen. Für Puristen gibt es eine Dual-Mono-Signalaufbereitung inkl. XLR-Out. Räumlichkeit und Dynamik sind vorbildlich. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Okay first thing about the $860 DMP-A6 Gen 2 is that Eversolo in some mad mentality decide that a remote didn’t need to be included so do yourself an favor and order a remote with it. I splurged on the nicer V16; fortunately it just works out of the box via IR and does not need syncing/linking/programming to work, and the V16 is rechargeable, which is great. Now on to the important part… If you’re debating about the DMP-A6 Gen 2 versus WiiM’s Ultra, here are the critical differences: Wins for WiiM: ARC auto detect will switch the WiiM to ARC input automatically, and when you choose to stream music from Qobuz, Tidal, etc, it will automatically switch back to streaming/network input (the Eversolo does not ever automatically engage ARC, although you can turn on an option to automatically switch back to internal player when starting to stream) The WiiM is always in a state of either fully on or standby, never truly off. This means you never have to wait for it to boot up. Putting it in standby turns off stuff attached via 12V trigger and then turning it back on powers up the attached equipment. The Eversolo turns off completely when turned off, and you can’t turn off the attached stuff any other way than by powering down the Eversolo, so next listening session requires a somewhat long boot-up time. The WiiM Ultra has a subwoofer output and actual bass management features; the DMP-A6 does not (although the cheaper Eversolo Play does—go figure!). WiiM RoomFit room correction, particularly when used with a calibrated external microphone, is heads and shoulders better in implementation and resulting sound quality than the crappy Eversolo room correction. The WiiM Home App is considered easier to navigate and use for many people (I personally think they’re both equally easy to use and both in another league compared to competitors such as BluOS or Volumio, but that might just be me). Here’s where the Eversolo wins/you get for your extra money: Native and true DSD support as well as support for PCM higher than 192Khz sample rate, such as DXD, up to 768Khz sample rate (note that playing DSD of any kind disables the integrated EQ and room correction features—they always work for PCM at least up to DXD); this includes even cloud functions such as Plex. I am able to pull DSD256 from my Plex server with the DMP-A6 Gen 2! An NVMe drive bay, which is way, way faster and more elegant than externally attaching a USB storage device like the WiiM; and the SMB functionality is excellent; I can buy/download or rip music to my computer and then using SMB directly upload it over WiFi into the NVMe drive inside my Eversolo! Multiple USB ports so if you want to attach external storage simultaneously as a CD player, and/or an external DAC, you can do this without resorting to using a USB hub as you do with the WiiM. True balanced differential line outputs, and they can be run simultaneously as the single-ended outputs. This is how I use mine (RCA out to my subwoofer, XLR output to my Topping B200 monobloc amps driving my speakers). Screen that’s twice the size (which matters when you listen from 10 feet away as I do). Subjectively I found the dual-mono ESS DAC of the Eversolo better sounding than the WiiM’s single-ESS chip DAC. Long story short: if you can afford it, get the Eversolo if you’re not running a subwoofer.

Dopo lunghe riflessioni, ho deciso di acquistare questo apparecchio, che mi è sembrato quello con il migliore rapporto qualità (elevata) / prezzo (accessibile). Va alla grande, è versatile, ha tutte le funzioni, è facile da usare e pure bello da vedere, il che non guasta. La app è fatta benissimo, viene aggiornata in automatico e consente il totale controllo da remoto. Non sto qui a fare recensioni su come suona, quelle le trovate in rete e sono tutte molto positive; dico solo che l'apparecchio mantiene le promesse e che sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Io lo uso anche come DAC e pre, avendo due finali mono in classe A, collegati egregiamente tramite le uscite bilanciate. Il sub attivo, invece, è collegato all'uscita RCA. Insomma, comprate questo Eversolo e state un bel pezzo avanti verso l'high end

Je me sers pour le streaming via les plateformes et je suis bluffé par la qualité sonore de ce produit.
