ensure you prepare them for the machine
These are a cost effective alternative for the 'brand' filters for our DeLonghi 'Eletta' machine. You just have to remember to immerse them in a bowl of water before fitting them to the machine; otherwise you get no water and a really annoying clattering sound. Also, don't forget to find the 'replace filter' portion of the machine's menu, or else the machine will not realise you have changed the filter.
