The guitar was set up great and comes with all the accessories. It sounds really good the way it is, but I replaced nut and saddle with bone and put my fav phosphor bronze strings on it. Stays in tune, and I love the warmer sound it brings now. Action feels just right and the neck feels comfortable to play. This is the cheapest of my acoustic guitar collection, but it does not sound “beginner” to me.

Guitar is beautiful. Only problem I didn’t get the cd, cord or tuner. I contacted the seller and everything is being mailed to me. This is a gift for my granddaughter. I know she will love it.

Almost two years ago I bought a refurbished acoustic off Amazon for $50 or so. There was something off about the guitar's neck that made it unplayable so the company just sent me another guitar and told me to keep the old one. I thought it was awesome, but turns out the guitars were crap and I was too much a beginner to know it. I practiced a bit but the action was so high on them that it was hard to play them for long. I've spent a fortune on Luthier tools and gained a good bit of knowledge about guitar maintenance and adjustments trying to get those instruments to work, but there was only so much I could do with them. But this Fender came setup to play right out of the box. Its action is super low but without fret buzz. And holy cow is it beautiful. It turns out I can play bar chords which is actually possible when you don't have to put a ton of pressure on the strings. There was a small ding on the case but it is otherwise in great shape and feels very sturdy. I think I love this kit more than anything else I think I've ever bought in my life. Its playability is wonderful and I really don't like putting it down. I love this guitar.

I bought this Fender acoustic/electric guitar about 9 months ago. It has a wonderful rich tone, is easy to play and is beautiful. The grain on the mahogany is dark and beautiful. It lives up to its dreadnought name and can fill a large living room with its sound. The tone is deep, rich and mellow. Strings are separated enough for easy picking. Tuning pegs are of decent quality and once strings are broken in it stays pretty much in tune. Other than putting on some bronze phosphor strings I did not need to set the guitar up. I really haven't played it much with an amplifier so can't comment on the electronics, other than the built in tuner works well. The hardside guitar case is well padded and looks professional. I was a little concerned about buying a guitar over the internet, but because of Amazon's return policy I decided it was low risk. I am pleased with the deal. The guitar's far better than one would expect for the price. Check out some of the Youtube videos for a feel for the guitar's sound and playability. Fender did a great job with this one.

I’ve just received the Fender CD-60SCE Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar you sent me. It arrived in a simple box, in the case, but with no packing whatsoever. It moved freely in the light cardboard box. Examining the contents I found the case gouged in a few places. It is not a Fender case as one would expect. It does not fit the instrument as it should as the attached photos show. Most serious is that the electric portion does not work. This may be damage that occurred in transit. Plugging in the guitar gives only a loud buzz, no guitar at all. I’ve spoken with Fender and they have given me an authorized service center for repair. It seems you do no testing before sending out the instrument to the buyer. A trouble I am having is that I like the acoustic sound. I don’t want to send it back. . I like this guitar which is no achievement of yours. I will do my best to talk with Fender about the quality of your business practices. Four hundred for a wrong damaged case packed in a light cardboard box with no packing, damaged instrument. I am not a satisfied customer. I advise you to consider my offer. Owned Gretsches, many Fenders,Gibsons. Professional for a while.

J'avais déjà une Fender Malibu électroacoustique et une Yamaha APX500 et la Fender CD60SCE est de loin supérieure au niveau du son de la caisse en acajou et de la touche douce du manche de Fender. Guitare incroyable pour le prix !!! Très bon achat !!! Branchée ou non, elle a un son sensationnel !!!

This guitar is amazing, Sounds beautiful and produce deep and the resonance is unbelievable. Just be mindful that this one needs to upgrade the plastic nut, saddle and strings. After I installed a real bone and 11-45. This is sound as good as my Martin.
